I installed a 4 tb ssd and set it up for SMB. The device is connected to the network via ethernet. Tried to connect to from a laptop with windows 10. (SMB is enabled and printer/sharing also enabled in windows defender) windows cannot connect. Tried wifi and same deal. Tried FSP and was able to connect but received “unable to log in” error message. I’m at my wits end and am starting to regret buying it.
You need to set the SMB on the computer to SMB 1.0
