I spent the last 20 years building and selling SaaS software. You do not indicate an available update by blocking the screen every time the system starts up - you do it with a small status indicator somewhere top left or right of the screen. My 520 is on 5.11.03 - and tells me constantly it wants to go to 5.11.08. I’m not entirely sure I trust the updates, and my system is working perfectly right now. Please make this small change, it is a big change for usability.
That being said, I am otherwise so impressed with the software on the amplifier itself, and with RoseOne. Some rough edges to iron out, but you are getting there. And it’s not like other vendors don’t have their own issues. I have a lot of Marantz gear, and HEOS does not compare with what Rose is doing.
