Upgraded to RS451

I love to use the Rosetube to listen HD music video therefore I have upgraded from RS201E to RS451, I still keep my RS201E for using in my study room.

I’m happy with the new RS451 but I can’t set the volume control when I use the RS451 as a source for my main HiFi system. This is very important as Rosetube music’s output level are too much difference and my preamp does not have remote control therefore I have to run around with each songs which is good for health but not friendly. It can set the output level of unbalance, let says 3000mV but variable volume control would be the best. The manual saying if I shut down teh output setting then it can adjust the volume but so far I can’t set it. Please help.

Hello,

Thank you for choosing the HIFIROSE RS451 and for sharing your experience with us.

We understand that managing the volume across different Rosetube content can be quite inconvenient, especially when using a preamplifier without a remote control. To resolve this and enable variable volume control on your RS451, please adjust the following settings:

  1. Go to RS451 > In/Out Settings.
  2. Select the Output Menu(Gear button) and then Pre-out level settings.
  3. Locate the Pre-out level settings and set it to OFF.
  4. Most importantly, please ensure you tap the Apply button in the top right corner to save the changes.

Once these steps are completed, you will be able to adjust the output volume directly from your RS451, providing a much more comfortable listening experience.

If you have any further questions, please do not feel hesitant to contact us.

Best regards,

Thank you for your quick response. Followed the steps and now I’m happy to tell it works very good. On the meantime, I have connected my CD/Dac to Audio IN so I can adjust the volume when playing CD as well. Thanks.
RS451 is a wonderful product to me.
