USB Audio Out of RS130 and clock data

When connecting the RS130 to a external DAC using the USB audio out option is the clock of the RS130 completed bypassed and the DAC’s clock is the only clock that is used?

If I understand correctly the only way to use the clock of the RS130 is to connect the 130 to your DAC via i2s or AES / S/PDIF or coax ? Is this also correct? I2s for my current DAC is not an option so I am left with AES / S/PDIF or Coax unless I am wrong and the USB audio out also transports the clock data from the 130.

Thanks in advanced

A good question! Want to know too

@Allan @duffer5

If an external clock is connected to RS130, the signal is transmitted in synchronization with the external clock when using the “COAX, Optical, AES/EBU” output.
However, if you do not provide the same external clock to the DAC, the DAC will operate using the built-in clock in RS130.
In other words, it seems to work differently than when using an external clock connected to the DAC.
A clock generator usually has two or more clock outputs.
In this case, using the same clock output connected to RS130 and one to the DAC seems to be the most sophisticated way to reproduce sound.

If RS130 and DAC are connected in the I2S method, since there is an MCLK PIN among the I2S outputs, if the DAC in use uses the MCLK transmitted through I2S, it can be said that it operates the same.

I appreciate the reply but my question was more specific to which clock is being used when using the USB audio out of the RS130 to the USB in of the DAC, which clock under that situation is being used?

The whole point (well, one of them) of USB Audio is that there is no clock in there. DAC clocks everything to whatever clock the DAC uses.

Anyone using external clock for Rose 130? I am wondering if any users tried it and experienced improvement in sound. Any recommendations?
