USB DAC ‘nonificatie’?

In the audio-setting of the RS-130 is a setting called ‘USB DAC-nonificatie’ . It comes next under ‘VU-meter reference’.
This ‘nonificatie’, I guess, is some translation from Korean into Dutch but I don’t quite understand it, it is not in the Dutch dictionary . My guess is that it should be ‘notification’, so the RS can read the actual name of the connected DAC?

I can’t find what the setting does in the manual. I think it is set to ON ever since I bought the RS130 and connected my USB DAC. I do not want to experiment just to find out what it does because the RS130 works fine as it does (that is also worth mentioning on this site were there are a lot of complaints rightfully posted).

Can anyone tell me what the setting does?

If, for any reason, the USB DAC in use fails to connect to the RS130, an error message will show up telling you that the DAC is not found. The error message will not show up if this notification is turned off.

The error situation mostly happens when a DAC is failed to connect to the RS130 via the RSA720 Fiber Hub. Similarly, it may happen when the connection is lost between the RS130 and the RD160 using fiber optic cable.

Het schijnt dat je goed Engels spreekt. Als je de taal op Engels zet is de vertaalfout weg. Dan kun je gewoon even een melding doen over een vertaalfout (typo) en dan hoef je niet te klagen.

My question was about what the particular setting does and I was positive about HifiRose as the RS130 works fine in my case. The question got a kind answer, thanks.

I think it is favorite to some people to see things as negative.

When you enable the USB DAC notification function, users can check whether an external DAC connected via USB is connected to the Rose device.
