Hi there! I have a Daniel Hertz Maria 350 with an internal DAC. The connection chip in the Maria 350 amp is from XMOS, but even with OS 5.6.02 the USB connection doesn’t work (nor do the other USB outputs of the RS130!). My Rose 130 finds the XMOS USB 2.0 in the USB port, but music won’t play! The wheel on the Rose display turns endlessly. One thing I can tell you is that if I use Roon Raat with the USB connection to my Maria amp, it works!

Are you playing files stored on the RS130, a USB drive or a network server? If playing from a NAS, have you successfully scanned the files from the RS130.
Files are stored on the internal SSD! Streaming doesn’t work either!
I have the same issue. My RS130 does not play via USB into my Daniel Hertz Maria 800. It does not make a difference if I am streaming or playing local tracks.
een ongeloofelijke aanwinst die daniel hertz wil deze ook aankopen met mijn roze rs 150 b ik ga je wat volgen hoe je probleem oplost want die rose is niet simpel;om te verbinden met andere systemen je moet die inputs en outputs altijd activeren of die werken niet veel succes

When you reboot the RS130 and connect the Daniel Hertz Maria amp to the USB 3.0 port on the rear of the RS130, does the RS130 recognize the Daniel Hertz Maria amp?
Same fault as before the update! The Maria amp is recognized by all usb outputs but when I press play the wheel over the Play symbol is spinning and no sound is output!

No solution after 5 months!!! Why??? We buy an very expensive streamer and the support is absolutely mess!
When we connected the RS130 and Daniel Hertz Maria 350 / 800 via USB, they played without any problems and the sound came out well.
I have a few questions for you.
- When you connect RS130 and Daniel Hertz Maria via USB, can you confirm that you are receiving input from Daniel Hertz Maria?
- Does the same symptom occur even if you connect the RS130 and Daniel Hertz Maria with a different USB cable?
- When we connected the RS130 and Daniel Hertz Maria via USB, the music played normally, so I don’t know which one is the problem, the RS130 or the Daniel Hertz Maria.
- Is there no sound even if you connect the RS130 and Daniel Hertz Maria using a method other than USB?
- In the USB display of the Rose I can see the XMOS driver of the Maria amp. When I press play no sound is coming out and the time line of the track stands still.
- Yes I Have tried different USB cables, also the stock cable of the Maria and the Rose streamer. Can you tell me which USB cable is working?
- The Rose streamer only plays with the USB connection when I use Roon RAAT! It doesn’t matter which USB cable I use.
- No, the connection with the coax digital cable works! But that isn’t the best available connection for the Maria amp.
Is it possible to upload a video with the USB problem?
