Using an external DAC

My friend gave me a Topping D90SE DAC and I wonder if I can use it as an external DAC with the RS250.

How do I connect it , do I need to disable the RS250 or bypass it ?

Any help will be great.

Hello,

RS250 > IN/OUT Settings > Activate the output you want.

Good afternoon. Since the Rs 250 has no balanced XLR outputs, can I connect a external dac so I can use balanced XLR outputs from my dac ? Thank you .

Yes, it is possible if the external DAC has an XLR output.

@Ceddy did you end up using the Topping D90, did it improve the sound compared to the RS250 DAC?
