What functions don’t work when using an external DAC connected via USB out of Rose? Does taking the internal DAC out of the equation break a lot of the cool features (meta data, graphics, meters, etc)?

I really like everything that this box can do as a streamer, but am very locked into my R2R DACs and will always be.

Hello,

You still can use VU meter with your USB DAC.
If you connect USB DAC, MQA full decoding depends on your DAC, not ROSE.

Any plans to integrate the meters with RoonReady in the future, or this something that can’t be done due to the way RoonReady is integrated into the streamer?

We’re working on VU meter for Roon. For now, we plan to add it on next update.
I will let you know if there’s any changes.
