Very serious volume control issue

Hello,
After factory reset as they ask me and see that it still did not work. I have been supplied with a new dongle at my shop and wifi and bluetooth are working now.
The remote control still doesn’t work as I mentioned above, if you think it’s necessary I could send you a video, although I could live without it.

And the volume slider issue is still present. Both the rose app and Roon app on my android device have the issue. If the + button is pressed several times in a row, the device volume would automatically climb to 99 if not turned off in time.

If you connect the remote control in the correct way but it does not connect, ask the distributor in the country where you purchased the rose unit for a new remote control.

The symptoms you describe are different from the ones I know. When connecting the Rose remote via Bluetooth, pressing the volume up button automatically raises the volume to 99.
Does both the rose app and Roon app have the same symptoms?
Could you please send me a video of the symptoms you have?

I have experienced the exact same problem with the silver remote on my rs520. If I hold down the + or - volume buttons it will get “stuck” and go up to 99 or down to 0. This obviously could cause major speaker damage.

Any update on a resolution for this? I have stopped using the silver remote entirely to avoid the issue.

There seems to be a software problem with the new, early silver remote control.
This is the part that cannot be modified remotely.
Contact the distributor in the country where you purchased the Rose device and request a remote control.

Why does Hifi Rose put these type of issues back on the customer. So @jboaty has to contact the reseller, explain the issue in hopes they come to the same conclusion you did @ROSEHAN and then get a remote. Why doesn’t @ROSEHAN reach out to the distributor also known as the Hifi Rose distributor on behalf of the customer and request a replacement remote be sent to the customer. Hifi Rose has to be held accountable to some of these hardware and software issues and not put the heavy lifting back on the customer. That is not the way this is supposed to work.

I bought RS520 at Hong Kong, but now I move to Vancouver with RS520, so how can I get the new remote?

Same problem here. I have an RS520 and two RS150B and another RS150B unit on the way. All three units have the same problem with the silver remote. I contacted the local distributor (Israel) but he is not aware of the problem. I suggest that Hifi ROSE proactively recall the faulty remotes and provide a new silver remotes as a replacement. The black plastic remote feels cheap and inappropriate for a product level at this price. I will not accept a plastic remote as a replacement.
