Hello. I have some video files available on my NAS (ripped DVD or Blueray). What is the method to start the video. (What file on Video.TS directory for DVD as an exemple)
How to play back videos stored on NAS.
Rose device–>Video–>Folder–>Network–>Select your NAS (input ID/PW)–>Select the video you want to play.
Thank you
Thanks for the answer… ButIt doesn’t totally answer to my question. May be I asked in wrong way.
In fact, I put most of my DVD and blue Ray collection in a dedicated NAS. These video contains several folders in different directories. The question is : What kind of file I have to select for starting correctly the video.
It’s easy when the video is made with only one file (like .avi or .mov).
Should I have to convert each video in .iso file ?
Isos are (at the moment, also in using VLC) not working with the RS250.
The best way (for me) is creating a mkv-file with only the main video.
Also changing the audio isn’t very intuitive (you don’t see the language) and using subtitles, isn’t working in a perfect (they are shown only a real short time).
So the RS250 is for me not a real video streamer.
Hi, I have the same config as I used an Oppo BDP 205 before and have ripped all my concert Blu-Ray’s and DVD’s as ISO files on my Synology NAS.
Will there be support in future to play ISO files directly without the need to convert them to MKV?
