Videos not playing on my TV

Although I can see the videos on my Rose 151, I can not see them on the TV. I can only see the album covers.
I’m running HDMI from my rose to my MX150, then to my tv. Is there another cable that I need to run?

You need to run a hdmi cable from hdmi out on 151 straight to tv then pick a video and in the right corner of 151 screen you will see a tv toggle make sure its on

Does this mean that i can’t run it through my processor and then to the TV.
It shows all the covers and information just doesn’t play the videos.
I guess the HDMI has nothing to do with the music. That play’s through the optical gable.
Just didn’t want to take down the TV.

@Rus Just to understand:

  1. Does RS130 also have to plug the HDMI to TV? If so, why cannot directly plug the HDMI to my preamp which, in turn, switches the video portion to the TV & preamp plays the audio?
  2. If HDMI is plugged directly to TV, will audio be sent to my preamp via the TV’s eArc?

Did you toggle the TV on in the upper right corner of the Rose display? Also, do not use eArc, just HDMI out of the Rose direct to TV.
