WARNING.. Do not install Roseconnect One latest update

After this whole mess with the new app, it’s likely the old app will be updated for a long time. Rose would be devastated if they disabled software that’s stable and works for most users. Especially since 50% won’t install this new crap now.

Dear HiFi Rose users

We plan to transition to the RoseOne app once it is fully stabilized and we are confident that it can reliably replace the RoseConnect Premium app.

We will do our best to improve the stability of the RoseOne app as quickly as possible.

With all due respect, your conviction about the new app doesn’t sound very convincing. Currently, you have many bugs to fix that the older app doesn’t have. Since it’s taking you so long to improve the adding and deleting of albums in both Qoubuz and Tidal, which is the foundation of the app, if you’re saying you’re convinced the new app can replace the old one, I’d think twice before eliminating the old app, which is currently better and much more enjoyable to use.

If you don’t have people to fix the app bugs, and we, the users, will do it, and add to that the longer period for your IT staff to improve the app, then you really have to wait, and the old app must still be installable.

First of all, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We are doing our best to fix the bugs in the ROSEONE app. We also apologize for the delay in improving the album add/remove functionality in Qobuz and Tidal.

We will not remove the RoseConnect Premium app until the ROSEONE app is fully stabilized.

Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience, and we will continue working to deliver an improved ROSEONE app.

Well, we are waiting for specific actions to improve the application, because you realize that writing alone will not make the application work better.
And I’m being honest, the time it takes to improve the app is crucial to prevent others from replacing you in the audio market. This doesn’t mean you have to make quick fixes without checking them before ROSE users receive them.

@Cougar2025

Yes, we fully understand what you are saying.
We will do our best to improve the stability and performance of the ROSEONE app.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

It amazes me how many people are having problems with the Rose. One app I’ve been using the Rose RS130 for a few years with the rose one app and with my Roon Nucleus Titan server.with absolutely no problems and the new rose one app works as intended. I haven’t had a problem.

That’s why it’s like this: different people listen to music—for example, some listen to files, others exclusively stream, etc. I’m convinced that you didn’t even know many things weren’t working properly because you didn’t test them or didn’t use them. It’s hard to believe you didn’t know, for example, that you can’t properly add or remove favorite albums on Tidal or Qoubuz, that the VFDs don’t work properly (they don’t move in sync with the sound dynamics), and a few other things mentioned here.

Well, that’s the thing. Rose makes for a decent Roon endpoint (because it’s mostly Roon code that is running). Use it like that, and you will hardly notice the issues. Use it for some of the other advertised features, and you may run into endless problems.
