What are you spinning now?

Hey Bonte, by the way, it was actually Morten who convinced me back then to replace my Epicon 8 with the Epikore 9. He has been a long-time DALI fan.

Thanks for those playlists, he makes really good compilations, although the music there is the kind that has already been played to death

Now I’m going to listen to your Till Brönner… the bass there is probably so deep that my neighbours’ asses will tear apart

Diese Cover habe ich irgendwo schon gesehen.

:joy: :clap:t2:…No, it’s not that bad.

I listened to the playlist to test the different tracks with my speakers. Actually the same as your good playlist from DALI Epikore Reference.

Have a nice evening…:v:t2:

Tracks 6 & 8 sound absolutely fantastic. Perfect for testing the speakers.

I still need to find a few more good vocal pieces for testing the speakers.

@Bonte

a suggestion for your vocals only speakers test

Thank you, Alessandro…:v:t2:

I was looking for something like that and it doesn’t sound bad.

Laserdance - Ambiente

Hi VIK

Yes, I know it. It’s good. I remember Laserdance from the '80s with all the other Italo-dico hits. The best part was the maxi-singles, which aren’t so common anymore.

Between The Sheets - Late Night Radio (Kraftwerk / Medley)

A great mix from the 80s, in my opinion. Hard to find.

Elektric Music - Esperanto

By the way, speaking of Kraftwerk, I have Esperanto in my collection, Karl Bartos’s solo album. I used to listen to it when I was studying at university. For some reason, it’s not available on streaming platforms now.

Thanks, man! I’ve been looking for this for ages because I didn’t know the band’s name. It’s exactly the same style as Kraftwerk or the promo mix of Between The Sheets that I posted. There were tons of covers, but this style, when I was about 30, I thought was really awesome.

Thanks for the post. Of all places, in a HiFi forum! :pray:t2:

I snapped it up right away…1…2…3…CD…mine! :+1:t2:

Awesome!! I’m glad — it’s a really great and powerful album with top-notch sound quality and solid bass like YELLO. Just the way you like it

Exactly, dear VIK, you’re starting to get to know my taste. I immediately listened to it on YouTube, wanted to steal it with Song Downloader, but it would only be .mp3, and it’s so much better with the CD.

Then I ordered the CD right away. Yay, I can rip with XLD again!

:v:t2:

Hi Vik

Test your speakers (you’ve done this a thousand times already) to see how the Sxephon sounds.

Or do you have even better examples?

It could definitely be a bit faster.

Kraftwerk - Der Telefon Anruf (German Version) 8:10

folder

:flushed: Oh man :moneybag:. Luckily I have the record. It’s in the cupboard and has been digitized.

I don’t even remember how much a 45 rpm maxi-single cost. Was it 14 DM?

Bonte, Kraftwerk?

Are you still stuck in the 90’s?

Hi Mikey, you difficult child 🙋 (just kidding).

Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you. It was the '80s, and yes, it was my youth.

So, how are things otherwise? Everything good with you?

Are you cured yet… (just kidding).

Everything’s going well here, it’s just a shame we’re getting older every day…:weary:

:v:t2:

Well I didn’t want to embarrass you and your age.

You did! Please apologize.

The 90s were the worst decade for music. Not against famous artists like AC/DC, Madonna, Pink Floyd, etc., but all that disco crap, stop it. :face_vomiting:

Well I could have talked about Aerosmith, The Who releasing the movie Tommy, World Series of Rock in Cleveland… The Belkins… Skinnny Little Boy from Cleveland Ohio…

But that doesn’t mean much if you’re not from Cleveland. (Spud Boys (Devo) … )

Bonte, where did you even find this?

Lately I haven’t heard anything more terrible than this. The sound is awful.

It feels like it was recorded in full clipping whoever was recording had the mixer meters slammed into the red and going into space
