When I access my FLAC albums on my USB drive via Music/Category, when I add an album to a playlist, none of its cover art or track art appears

@ROSEHAN

Hello ROSEHAN,

On my RS130, when I access my FLAC albums on my USB drive via Music/Category, when I add an album to a playlist, none of its cover art or track art appears, whereas in Music/Category, the album art and track art appear correctly.

Why this difference in behavior? Are the tags the same, and is the album art correctly populated for each FLAC track?

Can you resolve this issue?

Thank you for your help and that of the technical team.

When you access music via Music → Category, the Rose system reads the metadata (tags and embedded album art) from your FLAC files and displays them correctly.

However, when tracks or albums are added to a playlist, the current system stores only the playback path and basic information.
At this time, cover art and track art are not fully linked in the playlist view, which is why you see this difference in behavior.

Please be assured that your tags and embedded album art are not the issue.
This is a known limitation of the current Rose OS playlist function.
We have already shared this with our software team, and your feedback will be considered for future updates to improve playlist artwork support.
