When playing a song the displayed screen should always be as below

When I select a radio station for example, currently all one sees is a small box at the top of the screen with whatever is then playing on the station. See Elvis Presley Singing “Heartbreak Hotel”" in the small top line after pressing “Positively 1950’s” to play that station.

This is not what should happen. What should happen is that the next screen one sees after pressing the station is the full screen of what’s playing:

The basic fundamental screen of HiFi Rose is the above entire screen devoted to the song which is currently playing.

Here are a few things to check:

  1. Does this happen on all the radio channels you play?

  2. I also checked Positively 1950’s, but it seems like this happens only on that channel, unlike other channels.

  3. Except for Positively 1950’s, you have to press the Music search button to see the currently playing track on other channels.

Rosehan,

I checked a number of radio stations. When a station is selected (clicked on) for all radio stations a selection “click” places the name of the station in the search field and it starts to play. What that “click” should do is take the user directly to the station playing screen and start playing the current song. This is what users want when they select a station. What is now happening is just to populate the search field. Why require the user to go the extra step and press the search icon then select the station again or press the populated search field for “Recently Played Stations”?
I’m not certain but I believe my other Rose streamers operate in the same way.

I do not know what you have named what I am calling the “radio station playing screen”. What is it properly called?

@ROSEHAN

When you click on a radio icon, it should play directly.

Can you do that?

domrol,

Yes, but while the station’s music plays, the user is not taken to what I refer to as the radio station page. Why is this important to me? It’s important because I have a projection tv where I watch the album cover of each song as it is being played by the station on Shazam.

Yes, I see. We’re actually staying on the radio list.
You’d prefer to go directly to the page of the music currently playing on the radio…
is that right?

I share this need, because I have to click on the title of the currently playing song at the top of the screen to go to that screen.

Can you consider our request?
