Where is "YouTube" login link in Rose One/RoseTube app?

Hello,

With Rose Premium Connect, in the RoseTube app, I can login into my YouTube channel (although the passkey function never worked; password was sufficient) and retrieve my various Playlists (I am most keen on the “Watch Later” playlist).

However in Rose ONE, that same link in the app is just the standard (non-logged in homepage) page. There is no way to login now to my channel.

see screen shots below:

Can you tell me how to login to my YouTube Channel while using Rose ONE?

The login is also missing from the RoseTube app on the 150b hardware. It would be convenient to have it in both apps (ONE and Premium Connect) as well as the hardware. The reason is that since we can retrieve our Qobuz, Tidal and Apple music playlists created elsewhere, we should also be able to retrieve our YouTube content/channel.

While RoseTube does have its “own” favorites, playlists etc from YouTube that I can create, I cannot retrieve those at a computer and play there like I can YouTube, Qobuz, Tidal etc. Conversely, I can create playlists etc on all those mobile apps (on a computer i.e.) but cannot get that organized content on Rose once I am in that room in my house.

Thank you

If you click the icon below the photo you sent to access your account, and then click “View Channels” next to the account, can’t you see it?

@Rose_love thank you for your reply. You just sent the screenshot I sent displaying the ROSE Premium Connect interface. As I explained, that works perfectly.

I’m looking for the same experience in the Rose One app ( which will eventually replace Premium Connect, correct?) specifically, to access my YouTube channel and it appears there is no longer an opportunity to login to my channel via the Rose One/ Rose tube/YouTube app.

@taystnotes
I will answer your questions:

  1. The RoseConnect Premium app will be replaced by the ROSEONE app. The RoseConnect Premium app will no longer receive updates, and therefore may not be compatible with future ROSE device updates or new features.
  2. As shown in the screenshot below, when you tap “View Channel” in the ROSEONE app, your YouTube channel should be displayed. Could you please provide a more detailed explanation of the issue you are experiencing?

@ROSEHAN here is a screenshot of the “YouTube“ menu item under the Rose One rose tube app.

I see no such description “view channel“ in this area that you are suggesting to look.

I don’t read Korean so I can’t tell from your screenshot where you’re telling me to look.

@taystnotes

Please check the following:

  1. In the screenshot I sent, I am logged into a YouTube account, and my account is displayed along with the videos I have watched.
    Have you logged into your YouTube account in the ROSEONE app?
  2. Are you currently using the ROSEONE app?
  3. After uninstalling and reinstalling the app, please let me know what screen appears.

@ROSEHAN

Have you logged into your YouTube account in the ROSEONE app?

As I stated in my initial post, I couldn’t see where to login (like I can easily see in Rose Premium Connect)

  1. Are you currently using the ROSEONE app?

Yes. I’ve been using ever since being on the Beta testing team with submitted comments.

After uninstalling and reinstalling the app, please let me know what screen appears.

I see the issue now after re-installing. I couldn’t entirely see the “You” icon due to a few pixels covered up by the currently playing item from the Playlist.

Any chance dev team can pull that set of icons (Home, Shorts and You) up a few pixels so users can see the whole text of each, so that when the currently playing bar is active, we can clearly see these items?

thanks

We have identified that this issue occurs among users using iOS devices. We will fix it as soon as possible and include the correction in the next update.

@ROSEHAN if I may add a slight addendum to this issue.

notice that after logging in (per the discovery, I noted yesterday) that the “you“ is now missing presumably because I’m logged in? Yet, I don’t see my content like I could yesterday.

Hopefully you understand this and are correcting it. I will use Rose premium connect in the meantime.

Thank you

@ROSEHAN confirmed fixed for iOS / iPadOS thank you for the quick turnaround

The samsung s23 does not fit icons.
