I have an RS-250. I tried 2 NAS drives and both of them cannot connect to my RS-250 because I have no control over the SMB v1 control ( on-off). I have read numerous places that HIFI ROSE does NOT support NAS drives using V2 only V1.
I have an old Maxtor Central AXIS and an old Synology. both do not work. I have to use the music library in both of them thru my ROON -CORE Library.
I would like to have the Hifi Rose Rs-250 connect DIRECTLY to my NAS>
I am looking for an inexpensive model - 1 or 2 drives - where it is basically plug-and-play. I know that the HifiRose SEES all the NAS drives, but when you try to log into them using suer name and password, you can be there for a week…it will NOT connect…!!!
Can someone please help me.??? A number of you guys have been life-savers over the past 4 months…I LOVE my RS-250 and I am not giving-up.
