Rose device does not support Spotify in app format, but only a connection program, so you cannot add the part you want.
What are you talking about? Other streamer/amplifiers use also Spotify Connect nad show on their display - Artist and Song title but also time elapsed/time left or progress bar in connect mode.
Even stream info like source and sampling freaquency.

At first, we supported Artist and Song title but also time elapsed/time left or progress bar like other products, but there was a request from Spotify not to support this.

It doesn’t make sense and is in nobody’s best interest. Surely Spotify can see that this is negatively impacting their user experience - and yours along with it.

What does Spotify look like on the Rose then?
You can enjoy Spotify music on your Rose device by activating the Spotify icon marked in red in the photo below, searching for the Rose device through the Spotify app on your phone’s peripheral search, and then connecting it.
