WiFi issues on RS301

Hello,

I had to change my WiFi box and can t connect to the new WiFi hotspot
I connect with the good login but on the 301 interface the WiFi Name move from connecting to saved then to disconnecting
I tried with several WiFi configuration 4 and 5, 2,4 and 5 Ghz
I tried also on my cellphone.
It only works well and the name of the WiFi moves to yellow if i set my WiFi Share to fully open with no password or WPA. But i cannot let my Home Wifi fully open.

Of course i factory reset my 301 several times.

Any Wifi Configuration you can suggest ?

  1. Would you try to connect your ROSE streamer’s network to your phone’s hotspot tethering?
    How to set up a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support *
    Check if you can play radio, rosetube with your hotspot tethering.
  2. If you can connect your streamer network to phone’s hotspot tethering, maybe resetting the router in your place may help.

Than for your answer.
As said, i succeed to connect to my phone Hot Spot but only in no password mode.

But as soon as i put a password in WPA2 or 3 mode it fails (and the password is well entered because if i put a wrong password i had a new prompt for pwd)

Any idea of what i can do ?

Another lead : Can we use WPS buttonof my hot spot to set up WiFi with the R301 ?

Does the 301 can use WPS to connect to WiFi ?

NB I also tested the ethernet and it works. The only pb is WiFi with password with any HotSpot phone or internet box.

Any possibility to set up a debug zoom ? to swith to an older veresion of the firmware ?

Currently, the latest version of RS301 is the same as the version from 2 years ago.
Currently, there are many users in Korea who are using RS301. However, they are connected to Wi-Fi and are using it well.

Please check a few things.

  1. Please reset your router. Even if you reset the router, do you have problems entering the Wi-Fi password?
  2. When entering the Wi-Fi password, please enter the upper and lower case letters carefully.
  3. Ethernet is fine, so why do you want to use Wi-Fi?

Hi;
everything was reseted and the pb is the same on the router and on my phone on hotspot mode
the password is well entered (if it is not i am asked to enter the pwd)
and for ethernet because i don t want a rj45 crossing my flat to link my internet box and my RS301
I am still stucked
