Wlan Adapter and General Rose Support for Germany

Hello,
is there now an alternative WLAN/Bluetooth adapter for the RS 520 instead of the outrageously expensive Next Dongle?

It seems that Rose is not interested in the German market, and is not able to act in a customer-friendly manner, even with such a minimal problem.

Rose Radio for Germany would also be a good idea to make a positive impression on the market.

I have not yet noticed an answer to any topic from Rose itself.

I have now received the adapter. Unfortunately I can’t use it because the Rose amplifier doesn’t seem to recognise it.

I was able to install it on my PC but when I plug it into the amplifier the LED doesn’t even light up.
Can you perhaps give me a tip?

I didn’t understand your symptoms.
We do not support RoseConnect PCs that can connect to the amplifier.
Please answer a few questions.

  1. What is the model name of the Rose device you use?
  2. If you use a streamer rather than an amplifier, you cannot turn it on with the RoseConnect app when the streamer is turned off. However, the power can be turned on in standby mode.

Hi Michael,

sorry für die späte Antwort, ich war länger nicht online hier im Forum. Normalerweise funktioniert der Adapter Plug & Play, bei mir war es so. Probiere mal den anderen USB Port aus, bzw. schalte im Menü mal WLAN an und aus. Oder den RS520 mal komplett vom Strom nehmen, Adapter einstecken und wieder an den Strom anschließen. Das sollte dann klappen. Wenn nicht, würde ich mich sehr wundern. Die Fernbedienung dann wie beschrieben, auch an den Adapter anbinden ( kann ja WLAN und BT). Hoffe es klappt, bei mir bis jetzt ohne Probleme!

Hallo Silberengel,

auch ich war lange nicht im Forum. Leider funktioniert der Dongle bei mir in keinem der USB Ports.

Der blinkt auch nicht wenn ich ihn eingesteckt habe. in meinem PC tut er das.
Wie sieht das denn bei dir aus?

Please check a few things.

  1. When you connect a USB external hard drive or USB DAC to your Rose device, is it recognized properly?

  2. If the above information is recognized, it does not appear to be a USB port problem on the Rose device, but a dongle problem.
    Please contact the distributor in the country where you purchased the Rose device and request a new dongle.
