Won't Connect to server

So it stopped playing Qobuz. You could get the song and press play, but nothing would happen.

Then it started doing the same with Tidal.

Tried switching to wifi from ethernet, then reset it to factory settings and re logged into everything.

Same thing …doesn’t connect.

  • make sure your network works correctly
  • restart your rose device - long push on on-off button
  • sign out and sign in into qobuz account again…

I get this is not playing status for everything. Tidal, Qobuz, ect

You’ve been playing Qobuz before but the issue suddenly happened?
If there was a problem with the Rose server, it would have been a problem for many customers at the same time.
Perhaps this issue is unique to you.
Could you please try to reset the router?

I have reset the router, the system, logged out and back in of tidal and Qobuz. Can you see my system remotely? If you had the IP?

I’m not sure remote debug will can help you.
If have another phone or iPad, can you try hotspot tethering?
Activate hotspot tethering in your phone and connect your ROSE device and another phone/iPad to the network from hotspot tethering.

The internet is working fine. I have a Moon Ace and a Apple TV both streaming from the router. I have switched the Rose from Ethernet and Wifi. I still get the same error.

Should I contact my dealer and send it back? I have only had it a couple months.

  1. Can you at least connect your phone and ROSE device? Play radio with ROSE APP?
  2. Even your router has no problem, can you try the hotspot tethering?

I’m sorry about the issue.

The screen shots are from my phone. I can connect to the Rose through the app. I also can stream to it through my phone via AirPlay.

Should I send it back to you or what should I do? Nothing you are advising is fixing my issue.

It started working … not sure why or how but it just worked when I tried it this morning.
