Android Rose Connect 5.7 Error pop up "...authentication..."

After minimising the Android app version 5.7.x. and maximising it again, there appears an error message “The authentication information is incorrect” …

After some use of the Android app 5.7.x. i see that this error messages appears on other occasions as well.

When you say that the app crashes when you minimize it, does minimizing the app mean when you exit the app?

In this case the app does not crash, there appears an error message on several occasions.

I have forwarded the information to our software team, and they will release a fix and update once the symptoms are confirmed.

Could you try logging in to your Rose account again?
If you still experience the same symptoms, please let us know.
Rose device–>Settings–>My page–>Log out and log in again.

I do not have a logon and i do not plan to make use of it.
I prefer privacy in my home.
I would want functions that do work without a logon local only

@ROSEHAN That’s not the solution. The app is crashing when goes to the background. The previous official version 4.19 it was ok on that matter. You have to do much better quality control check.

Please check a few things.

  1. When you use the RoseConnect app and move it to the background of your phone, does a pop-up message appear on your phone saying that the RoseConnect app crashes?
  2. When you use the RoseConnect app and move it to the background on your phone, does it always crash?
  3. Please tell us the model name of the mobile phone or pad you are using.

1: i do not experience crashes during use except when i go to >settings>device management
2: I often get a pop up error message "The authentication information is incorrect” after sending the app to the background but also during use.

I can not make screenshot because it appears to short like 1-2 seconds.
My phone is Nokia Sirocco

@ROSEHAN Yes i’m getting a message if i close it and reopened many times to send the crashing report. My tablet is Xiaomi android 14 os. Yes always crashing because the app loads again everytime.

I also have an error with Rose Hifi on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 (Android 13, One UI 5.1.1)

schaue mal im Play-Store ob es für Adroid ein neues App-Update gibt. Heute kam für mich im App-Store ein Update für die Premiun-App (5.07.09.)

Is the Rose account logged in within the Rose APP?

After the latest update 5.7.05.6 i still get the error message about “logon” but i do not have any logon.

Regarding the error message,

  1. On your Rose device, go to Settings > User Account.
    After logging out and logging back in, does the issue still occur?

  2. Does this issue happen frequently?

After the last update of the app, it seems to be working like it used to!

However, the app still crashes when you scroll through several albums or tracks (around 100 or more tracks) in the Qobuz view and the screen goes black in the meantime or the app is put into the background.

Incidentally, also on my Samsung phone with Android 14, One UI 6.1
