Connection Failed

I cannot get the App to work. I’ve changed nothing, all has been working fine since I first purchased my RS250.

I cannot access anything on the App because the Connection Failed message pops up and blocks everything I am trying to access.

Help?

I have the same problem on IOS. Tried to restart the router, rebooted the R150b and rebooted the phone. Still same problem. 2 meters to the router/WiFi and the R150 is in the same room. Finally I deleted the app on the phone and reinstalled it. Much better now, even it still pops up every know and then.

I also have the same issue with my iPhone but not the iPad.
I’ve restarted my phone, router etc and still same message appears.

Seems like everyone in this post have the same problem.

I need to know more in details about your issue.

1. iPhone → Rose APP → Remote button on upper right, or Device Search button
In this display, do you see your ROSE device in the list?

2. iPhone → Rose APP → Remote button on upper right, or Device Search button
In this display, you will see ‘Current Device (Connect: 192.168.0.123)’ something like this.
Let’s say the IP address next to ‘Current Device’ is 192.168.0.123

3. Go to see your ROSE device display. What’s your IP address here?
ex) RS150B → Settings → SystemInfo > IP address > 192.168.0.55

4. The IP address that you checked in No.2 and No.3 should be the same, except for the last digit.
example)

  • iPhone → Rose APP → Current Device (Connect: 192.168.0.123)
  • RS150B → Settings → SystemInfo > IP address > 192.168.0.55

192.168.0.123
192.168.0.55

5. Also, please let me know if you see your ROSE device that you connected previously in the list here.
iPhone → Rose APP → Remote button on upper right, or Device Search button


Both IP address should be the same except for the last digits…

Also, please let me know which phone model you’re using.

If yes, please tell me whether it is iPhone 13 mini / iPhone 13 normal / iPhone 13 pro.

It is cause if you turn the rose of the IP adress changes. Have the same issue with 150B.

Hi.

The same for me. ”Connection failed” pop up message recurrent.

This issue after Roseconnect Premium App updated on iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Same issue here; I tried everything like reset network, reset with factory settings , reset of the app,…, all updates are done,… It looks like the registering of the ROSE is not working anymore.
Now the app is just crashing when I click’ Device Search’…

This Bug started TODAY also on my iPhone 13 Mini SINCE THE LATEST APPLICATION UPDATE WAS RELEASED

Rose!!! I’m getting frustrated… support has been amazing… fix please!

Here indeed … the “current device” has changed by itself after the last update and it is not possible to set it even by putting it manually from Iphone …
