The purchase of the 130 & 160 (a large sum of money) has to be justified somehow by the brain. Even if you take the test, everyone who bought the 130 would justify the price and say: the 130 sounds better than the T8.

Being honest here joyofmvid, I never understood the premise of this thread and what types of response you were looking for. The only response that I would find helpful is from someone who had a T8 and a 130 simultaneously and had the both connected to the same DAC. No one here does this. There is just regurgitation of marketing material and youtube reviews, and frankly, blatant Sinophobic bias.

Setting Boris aside… and getting back to the question of RS130 vs T8…
In terms of sound quality… apples to apples… there are a couple of areas that the T8 beats out the RS130…

Wifi. T8 has wi-fi 6. The RS130 is wifi is still wi-fi 5 due to its reliance on a dongle that is both BT and Wi-fi combined which comes with limitations.

OS. RS130 is on Android 7.1 This hampers all of Rose’s products. You won’t have Spotify lossless until Rose move up to a newer release.
Rose has HDMI video out which pairs w RoseTube.
In terms of sound quality… if you’re going to hear any difference, it will depend on the rest of the gear in your system including speakers. There is some truth to synergy and also the quality of your gear.
I just heard a set of ATC 50s (active) being fed off an Eversolo A6. Sounded fantastic.
I’d say that if Rose upgraded the OS and offered a different wifi and bt option like separate dongles … they would beat out Eversolo. Keep in mind that the T8 is a newer product. That gives it an advantage.

May I ask, which external clock you have? Have you tried out different ones?
I am using Ian Canada SC-Pure clocks in a FiFo Q7 Mk3 board, powered by ultra-capacitors. I have not looked at others as the cost to get something better is prohibitive.
