Yes, I used to be like him. So angry at the world and like to insult people online because it gave me some false relief, false power or hope. Yes exactly. Anyone insulting or calling names should have one warning, then permanent banning. The only reason why the juvenile insult and crude behaviors are continuing is because Hifi Rose has not enforced rules of decorum and civility, and permitted people like Boris to call people names and openly insult them.
Hifi Rose, will you step up to protect your community? Please give Boris one last warning then permanently ban him. If this continues I will write a letter to management informing of this issue and potential harm to members of our online community by these crude online insults of sexual nature by Boris, and ask for permanent removal of the offender.
Actually in some jurisdictions, cyberbullying is illegal. I’ve notified Hifi Rose that they should take some action to correct this issue. If it continues, it may require further actions unfortunately.

Because of the lack of civility in the community it is becoming boring and uninteresting to everyone because the same members are always bitching or complaining about their problem.
I think that Rosehan and his team should take the first complain and deal with it by taking it out of the community otherwise it’s non stop forever of the same merry go round.
I understand that you might have a problem but if you smear it all over the place it contaminates the community because you repeat the same thing over and over and you don’t bring anything positive.

Seems that the main fault and error message you experienced are not a common issue for other HIFI Rose users. I own a RS520 and as much as I have a couple of minor gripes, the unit has so far exceeded initial expectations. Very generally speaking, there is no complex, software driven tech device that does not come with flaws. I can identify some RS520 drawbacks, but so far nothing major. All core functionality is performed well. Seeing that these streamers deliberately ‘push the boundary’ of receiver software, GUI, mobile app control and a wide variety of content sources we can expect to be both dazzled and disappointed as the products evolve. To me it appears that a good balance has been found.
Hi Eric, I am unfortunately not in the position to evaluate if the all the problems I experienced are incidental or common and I haven’t described them all in this topic… But there were many different ones, right out of the box already, and some of them have been described here and/or in other fora also by others.
In any case, as mentioned here already several times it seems to be working fine now for the past 4-5 months in the contrary to the first 5 months of ownership. The rs250a was new and it seems to me Hifi Rose released the product too early without proper live testing leading to disappointment. Perhaps I bought it too early, nevertheless it shouldn’t happen. Both my cars have way more complex systems and software and they work fine. Why can’t a simple streamer work fine out of the box. In any case I have high expectations of anything I buy. But again, works fine now.
