RoseHan.
The latest update ran smoothly on the RS 151, with no issues. After updating the software, you need to update the system applications.
However, objectively speaking, the new software hasn’t significantly improved anything, not to mention the elimination of the ridiculous PIN code, which shouldn’t have been there from the start, and now EU regulations allow this crap to be omitted from Rose players. The guys at Rose, think about the nonsense you sometimes commit… it’s painful to watch.
However, in my opinion, the UV indicators are even less effective. With certain discs and a constant volume, the stylus can stop at 70-80% of the entire display and move within that range of 70-80%. Then, when the volume drops, the stylus will reset to lower levels.
In short, there’s more to it, and it doesn’t add anything to the user’s enjoyment. It’s clear that Rose’s IT staff has no clue how to make the VU meters useful in their use. Maybe it’s time for a change, to let someone manage this from outside the company. As weeks, months, and years pass, the VU meters are just for show, having nothing to do with the actual dynamics of the sound you hear when listening to a record.
This might not bother Asians, but it definitely does bother Europeans, because we’re accustomed to a different standard, and if we pay for something, it has to work properly.
I suggest once again addressing this embarrassing problem. It’s a shame for Rose that Ever Solo, which is less well-known on the market, is able to handle such things, while you can’t, don’t want to, or don’t care about keeping people happy. And that’s sad.
