[OTA] SW Ver 4.17.04 Software Release ( RS130/RS520/RS150/RS250/RS201 )

Bonjour, je viens d’installer la mise à jour 4.17 tant attendue et reçue ce matin.

Constatation :
Les dysfonctionnements connus, an lecture vidéo, au niveau des commandes « Lecture/Pause » et « Précédent/Suivant » via la télécommande Bluetooth, ont PRESQUE été solutionnés.

Sauf que, maintenant :
Trop souvent, la commande « Précédent » et « Lecture/Pause » ne répondent plus.
Dans ce cas, il faut

  • soit mettre « TV » sur « Off » puis sur « On » sur l’écran tactile,
  • soit taper la commande « Suivant » puis « Précédent » pour débloquer la situation.

Nota :
VLC a été au préalable désinstallé/réinstallé

Conclusion :
Cet appareil (à 2800€) ne fonctionne toujours pas correctement !
C’est décevant !
Quand fonctionnera-t-il enfin correctement ?

Je ne pense vraiment pas qu’ils s’en soucient. La vente du produit devrait être interrompue jusqu’à ce qu’ils corrigent ce problème. Ils vendent une boîte de test bêta de 5 000 $. Cela fait 2 ANS depuis son lancement et c’est toujours un bugfest. Je suis très déçu.

After last update my RS130 sometimes gives flickering display.
Then I have to power down and restart and the issue is gone but it can occur spontaneously after some time again

What about the remote control? It’s totally useless but very necessary. Working from the cell phone app it’s a really upsetting.

@ROSEHAN @ROSELOA Yes I am seeing this problem as well. Even if the song has metadata with title and such, instead of the title, the file name of the song is being displayed on the screen. It’s not an issue but the title of the song would be better. Used to be the case, but I am seeing this after the upgrade.

Hi guys! Aparently, the problem is when you accessed to the songs via “folders” not when you have it scanned in the data base. Doesn’t mind if is an ssd or a nas.
I show you the same song playing from the folder and from the HiFi Rose Library.

1. Folder (Don´t show tag information, only file name)

  1. Library (Shows tag information)

Sorry - not the case. I get this and don’t ever use folder view.

I am playing from my playlist.

First time, I got an update problem on RS250. Update stuck on rose/android screen and does not complete. I know others had this problem before - what to do? Device is still on waiting …

Dear Friends, hello to everyone.

Yesterday, Wednesday, January 31, I did the Software UPDATE on my RS250A and I have a question:

The update version is 4.17.04, and in my case, when the update finishes, it tells me that it is version 4.17 and not 4.17.04.

How did I do the UPDATE?

I connected the network cable that comes from my internet provider’s modem to the RS250A and it did everything automatically, the software guided me.

Please, can you give me a hand with this, maybe I did something wrong, I appreciate the help in advance.

Click on view details and 4.17.04 should appear then

Hello. Still no fix for the DSD files. The gap between tracks remains after the update. Is there a plan to fix this???

I solved that problem by directly playing the ISOS of the SACDs, it is more comfortable for me and it is also a faithful copy of the disc without any type of loss.

Dear Rose.

I have had my RS250 for more than 2 years. With this latest SW update it seems you have intoduced a new bug:

If I start the “Clock” to show it on the display, my remote stops working!? Only volume up/down buttons work; all other buttons do not. I have to start the RC app and choose “Home” or “Source” or other, or press “Home” (Rose icon) on the device display to close the Clock. Then the remote works again. It is only when Clock is on the display, the remote does not work.

Can you please fix this soon, or let me go back to the previous SW version; that worked ok for me.

PS. I have rebooted the device, disconnected the power and paired the remote again to try to solve the issue. No luck.
