Yesterday, Wednesday, January 31, I did the Software UPDATE on my RS250A and I have a question:
The update version is 4.17.04, and in my case, when the update finishes, it tells me that it is version 4.17 and not 4.17.04.
How did I do the UPDATE?
I connected the network cable that comes from my internet provider’s modem to the RS250A and it did everything automatically, the software guided me.
Please, can you give me a hand with this, maybe I did something wrong, I appreciate the help in advance.

Hello. Still no fix for the DSD files. The gap between tracks remains after the update. Is there a plan to fix this???

I solved that problem by directly playing the ISOS of the SACDs, it is more comfortable for me and it is also a faithful copy of the disc without any type of loss.

Dear Rose.
I have had my RS250 for more than 2 years. With this latest SW update it seems you have intoduced a new bug:
If I start the “Clock” to show it on the display, my remote stops working!? Only volume up/down buttons work; all other buttons do not. I have to start the RC app and choose “Home” or “Source” or other, or press “Home” (Rose icon) on the device display to close the Clock. Then the remote works again. It is only when Clock is on the display, the remote does not work.
Can you please fix this soon, or let me go back to the previous SW version; that worked ok for me.
PS. I have rebooted the device, disconnected the power and paired the remote again to try to solve the issue. No luck.

The symptom was confirmed by us and passed on to the software team. We will fix this issue and reflect it in the next update.
Have the RS201E. Very pleased with the unit. I have not updated since 4.7. I’ve decided to update to 4.17. Yesterday I tried to update but it told me that it would update to 4.12 so I canceled. Today it tells me a new update is available but when I try to update tells me that I have the latest ver. 4.7. What am I missing.
Yesterday Sunday I wanted to install the latest software and I was surprised that this didn’t work and that my version 4.7.01 was displayed as the current one. Is version 4.17.04 no longer available?

If your Rose device version is too old, the update may not be possible.
In that case, I have a way to manually update by sending the update file to your email.
If the system version information is not displayed as 4.17 even after factory resetting your Rose device (Rose device–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset),
please send us the model name of your Rose device to the email below and send us the update file. Please request.

I was able to successfully install the new update yesterday evening. All applications are working correctly so far. Thank you very much for the support.
Hi I am afraid to tell you that after installed the latest firmware on my 150B and iPad, the albums files stored inside the 150b SSD cannot show the disc cover artwork on the both playlists ( right hand side of Rose Connect Premium IOS Apps) and the folder directory when open folder under Music. Please help to fix the bugs in ASAP.

The latest firmware solved the problem of the missing album artwork from search folder directory which show you on the left side of screen captures. Unfortunately the new firmware created another problem of the album artwork missing after added into play lists show you on the right side of the screen capture. On matters the locations of the files stored in internal SSD of 150B or NAS.
This is a very bad experience and creating big trouble to use play list. Please answer my question and provide solution in ASAP. To be honest, it’s enough for me to living with HiFiRose products. It always has problems to use.

- What is the device model name that uses the RoseConnect app?
- Can’t the album art of the sound source saved on the SSD be displayed in Queue on your phone?
- If you rescan your SSD, will the same problem appear?
- Can you try deleting and reinstalling the RoseConnect app?

- Are music sources whose album art is not displayed in the RoseConnect app not displayed in the same way on RS150b?
