Power Cords for RS130

Oh, the horror! I don’t have a pyramid to put my razor blades under. I can’t say that it does not, in fact, keep them sharper! But then you probably do believe in pyramids too, they work on the same principle as power cords.

How do you avoid sticking a fork into a wall outlet?

Nice of you to keep repeating that you are using your daddy’s toy that he got second-hand.

Are you making a list of every idiot on this forum?

PLEASE ignore the broke bum Boris. Do not respond further.

I can’t believe that there are not moderators on this forum! Most of the participants should be kicked out.

Here are my 50 cents. I own pass labs amp and pre amp, mola mola dac and rs130. When I changed the power cable of the rs130 I didn’t hear any difference. I wonder why. The most significant difference I heard was when I replaced the stock power cables of the pre-amp and the amp.

All other speaker cables and interconnects are pure silver.

Rose is a small company, they basically have onbe person trying to take care of customer support and look after the forum. Can’t be everywhere.

Rather doubt that Pass would have supplied an insufficient power cable with their equipment, but RS-130, with its consumption less than a table lamp, can’t have any difference from sny power cord for quite obvious electrical reasons.

Need advice, we will be changing power provider next week. The new provider supplies only green power, windmill or solar.

We this mean that we will have to change to different power cables? I guess the green power will make the sound more lively? But can it be too much, so that different cables could calm it down again? Please advice.

When they say that they will change power provider, it is only means paper transactions (Green Energy Credit), the actual power generation, power transmission and power distribution will remain the same.

Best solution imo is to get an Ecoflow and go battery powered. Same technology as Stromtank for fraction of the cost. I run my entire system on it and barely use 5 percent total power.

When you changed power cord of mola mola , did you hear any difference?

To all those who want to classify music and device models into social classes!

Why are you so ignorant, blinded and don’t realize that there are forum members who want to give you tips, or better said: want to guide you on the right path. You don’t have to do it!!!

But I think it’s really excessive of you to (block) such people straight away.

Moreover, it all started with a power cable and “you” expanded it to include the ownership of 130/160 and handed out seat tickets.

If you really had a lot of experience with technology, devices and design, you wouldn’t be talking in this forum.
Then you would certainly be in the Nagra forum. (Do you know what a Swiss audio clock is)…You are such technology freaks!!!

:boom: Nagra :boom:

I’m German and have known this brand for a long time and I also say that the boundaries are clearly set for me. (Cost/benefit factor) not achievable.

This is the technology (sorry Rose) where Rose got her ambitions. “My opinion” (RA 180…)

I don’t want to say that your 130/160 toys (sorry Rose) are against it, but you have repeatedly emphasized that other chat members should go back to their “doghouse”.

I’ll tell you honestly, this kind of thing makes me sad… isn’t there enough suffering and misery in the world already???

Think about your statements again and think about them, which I think are very drastic.

Bonte, you are a beginner like Boris . You have no business in RS130 forum. You can make your point, but don’t keep repeating same points over and over or you will be added to BLOCK list like Boris.

Then you have to do it. Your ignorance is clearly visible here.

Be a little tolerant…:+1:t2:

Bye, you are BLOCKED , ignorant troll. Public Service Announcement: don’t waste your time with Bonte or Boris, they are both uneducated, ignorant trolls using entry level equipment disparaging products they dont own and have extreme jealously . Use the BLOCK function if either of them harass or insult you .

With a bicycle (as you call yourself), you can easily fall or hit a wall if you are as intolerant as you are.

If you climb high, you can fall very low (see Icarus)

I find it really sad of you to display such behavior here.

Some men (you know, bald and with big belly type) use sports cars or shiny stereo equipment the way peacocks use their tail feathers – to attract a mate. Unlike peacocks though, it is well know that there is an inverse relationship between the, ahem, size of the weewee and how loud the car is.

He can’t do anything else. Peacocks can’t but spread their tails. And for people with wieners as tiny as @PatriceP or positively microscopic like @Bicycle, boasting of owning a cheap streamer is the only way they can hope to attract someone. Not like they could do it with intelligence or personality…

How about we all stop the ad hominem attacks? This is not the place for it.

There are objectivists and subjectivists in this forum, like in any audio forum. We will never agree on what does or doesn’t make a difference to our sound or perception of our sound. Perception is our reality.

Let’s all get back to enjoying the music with or without our better than $5 cables.

@BorisM thanks again for your gift in the PS Audio powerplant, I have a tech working on replacing the caps so I can use it again to make my system sources sound better (to me)

You’re welcome! Glad yoiu might be able to fix it. From the age of it, entirely possible that it’s just the caps going bad.

There’s nothing wrong with being a subjectivist, if you are aware of it and acknowledge that those are your subjective impressions. Enjoying the music is a subjective experience. If one gets more enjoyment from having a power cord color-matched to his walls, why not?! Or from having a shiny PowerPlant on the rack

It’s when one starts insisting that their subjective impressions are of great importance just because they have paid that much for some equipment, and generally being a jackass compensating for some penile deficiencies that one should expect some pushback.

No need. If you feel harassed or insulted, just use the BLOCK function. It works beautifully! Problem solved! I’ve already made a thread showing people how to do it with great success and many people have already blocked known trolls.

Now i would like this thread to stay on topic. If you don’t have a power cord for your RS130, please take your discussion elsewhere.

You really were bathed in too hot water as a child!

What right do you have to label yourself the boss here?

The chat doesn’t belong to you. Close your eyes, then you’ll know what belongs to you and finally come back to reality.

You’re totally blinded, you belong locked up in padded cell 13.

Oh yes, of course:
Red power cables make the angels sing, but unfortunately there aren’t any in the padded cell.

I am just in the process of rolling my 150 to a 130. I can tell you that I have replaced all my cords with the Pangea AC-14 cords. I started with the 150 and found a significant change. I tryed one of their heavier cords for my amplifier but it would not fit. All cords were 18 in.
