Qobuz Connect support

Does the 150b support newly released Qobuz Connect? If not, when do. you plan to implement it? When I select audio output in the ”now playing” window on the iPhone app only AirPlay and Bluetooth appear as selectable options.

I have the same problem… my 150B is not displayed either… I have 2 friends who have eversolo and auralic and Qobuz connect works regularly on both of them:pensive::pensive::pensive:

Also, on the Qobuz website is Hifi Rose listed as a brand integrated with Qobuz Connect.

Same issue with the RS130. And meanwhile… silence from HiFi Rose support.

Hi there, I installed qobuz on my 150b and it works just fine.

But here, the guys talking about Qobuz Connect in which you use the Qobuz app on your PC/Mac or mobile device and say here: Play it on my Rose device.

By the way: The list on the Qobuz website isn’t correct. Only a few brands from the have already released the needed firmware. Eversolo and Lumin have working devices, Naim not…
Wait until the Highend in Munich and then you’ll see…

Dear HiFi Rose users

We don’t have any further plans for Qobuz Connect yet.

We will look into it later.

I’m looking forward to that. It’s a much sought after addition in my book.

Thanks for the reply!

Too bad to hear that there are no plans yet to include Qobuz connect. I think this would be a great addition and improvement that a lot of users would appreciate.

I do agree. Especially since the Qobuz API comes with limitations regarding search, order and sort functionality, the Qobuz Connect integration would resolve all these shortcomings. Please do add it to the development raodmap!

Ok, understand now. Indeed, no Hifiroze in the list. No sonos either.

Why not? If this is something a lot of your customers would like to have?

I want to know why a young company like Eversolo has done it and you guys can’t? Don’t even have a concrete plan? Why?

This is really disappointing.

Until I signed up for Qobuz yesterday, I was unaware of the limitations for sorting albums and playlists created in Qobuz ( date added !! ) , which renders it useless to me and I’m sure many other potential users.

Qobuz Connect would solve this issue at a stroke. Until this happens, I will revert to Tidal, even though for my preferred genre , classical music, Qobuz appears to be a better alternative.

Competitors such as Naim , a conservative company, have already implemented QC. If they can do it so can Rose. As the saying goes “ Where there is a will, there is a way”.

Rose should make the implementation of Qobuz Connect an absolute priority.

Hello
have you checked both you RS150 and your phone are on the same network? If you’re using Wi-Fi for your phone and LAN for the Rose (like I do), it won’t work. Since I’ve reconfigured my RS150 (not B but I doubt it makes a difference) it works quite nicely.

Hello @ Kryss

I have an RS520 which connects to internet via LAN. My iPhone & IPad connect via WiFi.

To be clear, are you saying that on your 150, when you switched from LAN to WiFi you were able to connect to the recently introduced Qobuz Connect ?

Comment se fait-il que Hifi Rose soit référençé sur le site Qobuz Connect, et que mon Rose RS130 ne soit pas reconnu par Qobuz Connect…pas très sérieux tout cà !!

This is what I meant.

That’s interesting! I wonder why it works under WiFi? Is it still working?

Nope… dont know what I’ve bien smoking but it wasn’t good to my brain. Nothing appears under output in Qobuz, whatever the connections (Wi-Fi or LAN)… sorry for this false hope gays…
