Qobuz Connect working

Dear @ROSEHAN

After disabling daylight saving time and restarting the RS130, I can confirm that Qobuz Connect now works.

However, gapless playback is not supported – which makes this new feature unfortunately quite useless for serious listening.

A real pity!

@ROSEHAN , @ROSELOA , by deactivating summer time and then restarting my RS250, Qobuz Connect works perfectly.
For the time, I changed the time zone.
Waiting for a final solution, thank you and good work!

What about the stutter problem reported by several users here and in the thread “Qobuz Connect support”?

I think they better start from zero with a complete new software development team
Make a new start with version 1.0 and do test everything over and over again before release.
I think the current software is a mess with a lot op patches and one patch kills another patch
As an example, what in Gods name has daylight savings on or off have to do with Qobuz connect??
Every time something is fixed or added something else which worked before stops working
Internal the firmware is a mess I guess and even Rose Programmers don’t have the overview anymore

I do have the stutter at the beginning of each track that others have mentioned though, just sharing that. While the Qobuz Connect functions with daylight savings off, the stutter makes listening unbearable. I know this is being addressed, but I did want to report the situation. Thanks!

I tried the cumbersome procedure of resetting the device and configure all the settings again, of course except of daylight saving time on my RS 150b.
Qobuz connect worked… for exactly one song!!!

Please stop gaslighting us claiming this OS update was tested.

Did as @ROSEHAN recommended and disabled DST. Q connect worked for less than 10 minutes and once again I can not connect. How this issue was not discovered during beta testing is beyond me. I have yet to see a smooth release of any major updates to Rose OS. Frustrating to still feel like an alpha tester.

Hello,
Still for my RS130.
You also have to leave the network on DHCP (don’t set it to static) and leave the SFP type on auto, otherwise QC won’t work.
There you go.
I hope we didn’t have any surprises…

OK, so I did exactly what ROSELA suggested, turned off daylight savings time, rebooted, and Voila! It seems to be working…
However, music is skipping at the beginning of each track… There’s progress, but still somewhat annoying. It should be seamless… Thank you Rose , just the same.
Still looking forward to a seamless integration. The beginning skips are somewhat annoying and not apparent on my other applications. Let’s keep developing!

On my RS250, it works very well, smooth, without cuts.

The same for me on RS520: QC works, but each track begins with stutters and after approximately 30mins, playing stops.

Hi alfachris,
You might as well get your Roon lifetime license…
Now are you sure Roon offers all the features of the Qobuz app?

I don’t think he misses anything, as he has both. Both have features the other one hasn’t.

:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
