Hello Hifi Rose Team
Since this morning, Windows refuses to open Rose One; application control is blocking the program from opening… Hey Rose HiFi, maybe you should certify your apps with Microsoft to avoid this kind of problem, right?
Currently, the ROSEONE app is running normally on Windows on our side without any issues.
We would like to ask you to check a few things:
Problem with Rose One in Windows during installation or update.
Smart App Control enabled blocks Rose One.
Solution:
It is necessary to turn it on/off to allow the Rose One app to work.
Has Microsoft been notified by your services?

We have also checked this on our side.
When Smart App Control is enabled, the app does not launch.
It appears that there may have been changes to security settings in a recent Windows 11 update.
We have sent an inquiry to Microsoft regarding this issue.
In the meantime, it seems you will need to turn off Smart App Control to use the app.
Due to a recent Windows security update, the app has undergone a new security certification process.
Microsoft may display warnings for a certain period after a new certification. If no issues are reported and the app builds a good reputation, these warnings will eventually be removed.
[How to disable the SmartScreen Filter warning]
Reputation-based protection settings > Turn off:
Alternatively, you do not necessarily need to disable it.
When the SmartScreen Filter popup appears, click “More info,” and then the “Run anyway” button will be available.
Problems with the Rose One app
When the Rose One app notification appeared for Android and Windows, I installed both versions.
For Android everything was fine.
For Windows it was not.
Overview of the installation on a Windows 11 Pro laptop
The installation process completed, but when starting Rose One, Smart App Control appeared with a message about an unknown program, and it was blocked.
I reinstalled it, but with the same result.
I then turned Smart App Control off.
Rose One worked after that.
I ran a test with this version and found a translation error.
In the menu bar it says Niew for New (English). This should be Nieuw.
I already reported this to your service.
Yesterday evening, April 22, I started Rose One again and a message appeared on the screen about an upgrade.
This upgrade completed without any notification during the update process.
But when starting the app again, the same message appeared as before.
I checked the Windows settings.
Smart App Control had been turned on again.
After disabling it, Rose One with update 1.19 could start.
To work without problems, I looked for the causes:
I then checked the Windows logbook and found an error message related to the installation of Rose One version 1.18, dated 11.4.2.26 (see attached log file).
In logboek staat voor Rose One versie 1.18 de volgende foutmelding.

Hello,
We would like to share the results of our inquiry with Microsoft. For the time being, the Smart App Control message may continue to appear.
Recently, as Windows security certification requirements were updated, we also updated the PC version accordingly. Because of this, it seems to be recognized as a new program, which is why the popup keeps appearing.
According to Microsoft, if there are no issues with its reputation over time, it will be automatically cleared.
Also, on our PC, Smart App Control does not turn back ON automatically once it is turned OFF. On your PC, under what circumstances does Smart App Control turn ON automatically?
