I’ve been getting this error since last update. Every time I change mode or change input, this will appears.
RS150
Please advise.
Sorry, but since the last update I haven’t been getting this type of message.
Thanks but I need solutions. This is the original RS150 and I never have any issue until now.
I have a few things to check.
-
Please tell me the version information of your RS150.
RS150–>Settings–>System info–>System version info
The current Rose OS version for the RS150 is 5.9.07. -
Does the same issue occur after resetting your RS150 to factory settings?
RS150–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset
It is 5.9.07
No factory reset, is this the solution to this issue?
Your RS150 is currently running the latest version 5.9.07, but if this symptom occurs, there may be something wrong with the system, so I am requesting that you perform a factory reset.
Ok, I did it and redo the settings.
Now I have new issue. One time I turn it off with the mobile app, then next day I cannot turn it on with the app. The touch screen is also not responsive. I have to turn the switched in the back off and on again to get the streamer to come on.
Another instance is then the streamer is on Standby with clock on, but next day it is off and again the touchscreen is not responsive. App also cannot wake up the unit. Again I have to reach to the back and toggle the on/off switch.
Pls assists.
Are you using the RS150 with Roon?
If a factory reset doesn’t resolve the issue, it’s likely a hardware issue.
Yes, with roon.
The restart issue has not happened but now every time I put it on standby it will turn completely off. The app won’t bring it back.
I don’t believe, that you’re RS150 has a hardware issue like ROSEHAN mentioned.
I’ve the same problem with the current firmware and three different Rose devices (1xRS150 and 2xRS250).
Going back (you can try the latest EA version) solves this problem on all devices for me and so for me it’s a software problem, which Hifi Rose must solve.
Thanks, I’ll give it a try. It would be sad if its a hardware problem. My RS150 has been sitting in 1 single place since I got it and its plugged in to an isolated transformer the entired time. If its a hardware problem then Rose makes some fragile equipment.
If the issue occurs while Roon is in standby mode, it has been fixed.
If you experience similar issues, we can provide an update file.
Please send your Rose device model number and request the update file to the email address below.
eunseong96@citech.kr
thanks! I’ve written to request.
May I ask why the fix is not released to the public? Why have to request one by one?
Most likely, because this fix will be included in a future update that will include all the fixes.
I also received a “unit” fix; it should also be included in a future update.
This is probably a way to help us individually without having to wait for the next update to be finalized for everyone.
I have the same problem with my 250A after the last update.
I’ve emailed two days ago and still no replies. Just wondering what is the expected support response days?
Dear HiFi Rose users
The individually distributed update file at this time only includes a fix for the Rose device boot issue that occurs when Roon is set to standby mode in the latest version.
The official update will be released later, along with additional fixes and new features.
Please send your Rose device model name and request the update file to the email address below:
eunseong96@citech.kr
With the file you send me, now I have NEW problem!
When playing YouTube with TV on, my RS150 turns off on its own. This won’t happen with Roon or with native app playing just music. This only happens if I play the video.
Pls assist.
Please check the following points:
-
What version number is displayed on your RS150?
Go to RS150 → Settings → System info → System version info. -
We recommend that you use the latest version of the RS150.
When you press View details on the right side of System version info, it should show Rose OS 5.9.09. -
On your RS150, please go to the Rose Store, uninstall Rosetube, and then reinstall it.
After reinstalling, does the same issue still occur?
Hi,
I’m on the latest version.
Uninstalled and installed the RoseTube app.
It’s still shutting down. Especially if I play on from my mobile phone. Then I switch app then comeback later to Rose app to change songs, it will shut the unit down.
