Rosetube 2nd revision update distribution

Dear HiFi ROSE users,

​​​An update was distributed on January 22nd (Wednesday) in relation to the phenomenon in which the message “Unable to play due to a temporary error” appears when playing Rose Tube. However, as the same phenomenon was additionally confirmed to occur intermittently, a second update was released. It has been distributed.

​When you enter the Rose Tube app, the update will proceed automatically. For users using RS301/350 products, you must touch and run the Rose Tube app on the Rose device to update.

​Additionally, for stable service, we recommend that you restart the device before use.

  • Update date: Friday, January 24, 2025, 5:00 PM (GMT +9)
  • Applicable models: RS150(B)/RS250/RS201(A)/RS130/RS520​/RS151/RS301/RS350​

I see several updates applicable to RS150(B) but not specifically to RS150(first version).
Are those updates available for RS150 too or should I concern that at some point my RS150 is not longer benefiting from the updates?

RS150 (B), does mean for 150 and for 150B.

@ROSEHAN why there is obligatory update on Rose OS apps? I play my music and it comes announcement that there is an update. But, I can not dismiss it, it comes over and over everytime I start Rose. It is annoying.

I haven’t used my Rose RS250 in approximately 2 months. Turned it on today, did the update and I am having the issues which is stated that has been fixed.

It won’t help you and it’s just for information.

I always turn off my 520 every evening (or after listening to music)…via a plug-in power strip with a filter etc.)

I have no problems with a message about updates on my 520. I haven’t even updated RoseTube and it seems like the 520 did it itself.

Hi! What am I doing wrong? A week old RS 130, worked fine the first 5 days.Now I have this (Unable to play due to a temporary error) every third time on my RS130 , I have the Firmware 5.7.07.58 on Rosetube and 5.7.07.6 on Roseplayer Plug in. I have to press several times on the requested Rosetube video and after a while is starts. Have rebooted snd have ethernet in and chache set to 1GB om my ssd. Can you help to fix this?

Please check a few things.

  1. Is the version of your RS130 displayed as 5.7 (Official)?
    RS130–>Settings–>System info–>System version info

  2. If you access the Rose Store app on your RS130, uninstall the Rose Tube app, and reinstall it, will the same symptom appear?

  3. Does the same symptom appear even if you factory reset your RS130?
    RS130–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset

Now I have preformed all three steps and sad to say

  1. Yes!
    2.Yes!
    3.Yes!
    on all threee. On Hauser: Mahler syphomie nr 5 it starts all over again after approx 57 sec and then it stops. Just a brown circling ring. I did a test on a Tidal video and I works with no problem.

We have just released the third update of the RoseTube app.
Once again, please update the RoseTube app to the latest version in RoseStore and check.

Hi! Checked, after the update it seems to work perfect, thank you!!! I will monitor Rosetube and give additional feedback :slight_smile: after a couple of days.

Again, update is mandatory in the second I turned on my Roe 250A Why are you forcing users to make update right in the moment you turn on the device? It is annoying.

Hi! Still some quirks, today one video suddenly stopped and began from the beginning again, and just now another stoped and my RS130 rebooted by itself :-(, but most of the time int works

Again, this is not OK! Just had friends over to boost of my new machine (three weeks old) and Rosetube is not working as it should, it´s get stuck and stops all the time, the only thing that helps is a reboot.

Is Rosetube updated to the latest version in RoseStore?
RS150b–>RoseStore–>Rosetube
If Update is displayed, click to update.
Even if it has been updated to the latest version, please uninstall and reinstall it.

Updated, factory reset, reinstalled. My rose tube is still sticking after 45 seconds of playback

Please can anyone help?

On all instances Rosetube connects and downloads data for approximately 30 seconds and stops.
