Rosetube playback Error (Fixed)

Dear ROSE users,

​​​We have released an update regarding the phenomenon in which the message “Playback is not possible due to a temporary error” appears when playing a video on RoseTube.
For stable service, we recommend that you restart the Rose device before using it.
​If the video does not play when entering the RoseTube app, please update RoseTube from RoseStore.

I recently (4-5 weeks) have a lot of trouble with the playback from Rosetube with my RS130. It play for about 2-3 hours and then the error message pop up. No matter what I do (reboot, reinstall Rosetube app, etc…) nothing seem to work. It get back to normal after 5-6 hours not using the RS130. During this time, I can use airplay via my phone to RS130 to play music with no issues. This is really frustrating. Rosetube is one of the main reason I pick Hifi Rose. It’s the not best quality but Youtube have the large library of music titles that I enjoy especially older songs. I start with RS250, move to RS150B, and finally RS130. Never have any issues (owning for one year each) with RS250 and RS150B but RS130 is the pain. Can you please advice me what I can do to fix this issue. THank you in advance for your time and help.

If you have updated Rosetube to the latest version from RoseStore, will the same symptom appear even if you delete and reinstall Rosetube?

Thank you for the quick response. That’s correct. As mentioned before I deleted and reinstalled the Rosetube although I have the latest version and still experience the same symptom. Not sure what to do next so I reached out to you for help. Thank you.

Do you still see the same symptoms after factory resetting your Rose device?
Rose device–>Settings–>System settings–>Factory reset

I did the factory reset and play it for 30 minutes on Rosetube but don’t see any issues yet. I will try again tomorrow for couple hours to see if the error come up again. Would this be the remedy for the error? Do you know why this happened? Hopefully I don’t have to do that all the time. The trouble is I just spent a couple days to reload all my favorite songs and all got deleted after reinstall Rosetube and now again with factory reset. A bit disappoint for something sound so nice with software glitches. Thank you for your time and help.

The error popped up again after using Rosetube for 1.5 hour. This happened during reload some of my favorite songs back in the queue. I literally speechless and don’t know what to do next. I reboot 3 times but error still there can’t play anything on Rosetube. The last time this happened, I have to wait for 5-6 hours before I can use Rosetube again. This is frustrating. Please help. Thank you.
