My RS130 playback my internal SSD storage DSD file in DSD and converted all to PCM signal in “Native DSD” mode and the VM meter also is not moving.
In DOP mode can only support up to DSD128.
Any update firmware can be solve? if not I will give this up, and have other brand which are functional as expected.

Is Software Volume Control On on your RS130?
If the Software Volume Control function is turned on, it will operate as DSD to PCM. Please set Software Volume Control to OFF.
Does the VU meter not move only when the DSD mode setting on your RS130 is set to Native DSD? Does the VU meter not work even when DOP and PCM are set?
Are you using Roon?
Looking at the table below, if you set it to DOP when using a USB connection, it supports up to DSD 256 according to external DAC specifications
1, I’m not turn on the software, its alway off and it’s same all converted in PCM.
2, Roon is other issue, I put this away and not talk this at this moment. the issue is regarding ssd internal storage at the bottom.
anyway the vm is not move at all when pay dsd in Native dsd mode.
3, the spec you provided, also I expected, but it not how it’s work in real.
DOP mode is not support over dsd128…
so many issue in this modon world on this price range streamer. speakless

The conditions for the VU meter to operate are both DACs connected to RS130 and USB.
S/W volume control must operate regardless of On/Off,
However, it does not work during DSD playback.
We plan to add a function in the future so that VU can operate even when playing DSD music.
What is the DAC model name you are using?
We want to make sure that the DAC you are using supports DSD sound sources.
What version of Rose device are you using?
Rose device–>Settings–>System settings–>System version information
1, I hope it can be fixed before I change other steamer. haha
2, rockna wavelight dac.
i have tried other brand streamer with this dac, and it can play dsd 256 or higher.

Could you please check if the same symptom appears after updating your RS130 to the EA version?
RS130–>Settings–>System info–>Use the EA update version–>update
after updated still the same, nothing change.
where I can turn off the soft ware volume control, I turn off in USB setting but still on.

what I should do? Many other post said many bugs after new version update, I don’t think the new version can fix but get some other issue occurred, and seem hopeless.

After updated to latest version, still all my interanl SSD DSD file converted to PCM in Native DSD mode.
And not support DSD256 up in DOP mode.
i Don’t think Rs130 can capable for all DAC in USB connection in expected functionality even the dac is supported up to 512 in USB.
**The new update cannot help at all, and now caused my tablet unable to connect with the device both EA app and Connect premium app.
so many bug with the device and app, and this is very bad experience never have before.
