RS150B bug using Roon App - Standby

When using the Standby button in the Roon App (found in Roon DSP) to place the RS150B into standby mode, the RS screen stays slightly backlit rather than going dark even though the unit appears to otherwise go into standby.

This only occurs when entering standby mode from a state where the RS LCD has been turned off during listening.

When using the Rose App remote control function, pressing standby while the RS LCD is off wakes the screen and then one has to press standby a second time. Not sure why this is necessary.

@jwages

We apologize for any inconvenience caused during use.

To give you an accurate answer, we ask you a few questions.

  1. When the Roon app is in standby mode, does the power turn on when you press the power button on the device? Or does it go completely dark?

  2. When RS150’s LCD is OFF, pressing standby mode on/off through the RoseConnect app will turn it on, of course.

We recommend doing it directly from the RoseConnect app or RS150B when entering Standby mode.

Thank you

Hello,

The Roon App power button will power on and standby the RS150B, no issues. But when the RS150B has its LCD screen turned off while the unit is turned on, using the Roon App power button will place the RS into standby but its screen backlights slightly. It goes from completely off to slightly backlit without displaying anything.
