Haha, your ass is really burning, isn’t it?

That’s right, @BorisM - finish crushing this idiot once and for all!!

What difference does it make to you? You wouldn’t be able to tell one from the other with your eyes closed anyway.

While the idiot you are cosplaying would not realize it, Ultra is superior in every practical respect.

Wrong again. But then being always wrong is your thing.

BTW, I would take these over Raidhos any day.

Alas, that only works on people capable of understanding the difference between right and wrong.

No, I have to disagree with you there, Boris.

They say a little tap on the back of the head increases your thinking power!

Unfortunately, when it comes to tricycles, you have to bring out the big guns.

For example:

a steam hammer or a sledgehammer.

Bonte, Boris and VIK,

I really think the best strategy is to set him on “Ignored.” Boris was correct, he really doesn’t do the reading comprehension thing well, so it is not worth engaging with him.

If that were the case, then it would be true of you (collectively) as well.

Boris has already shown that he doesn’t know anything about networking.
Or how vendors operate w the IEEE operating groups when they need to release products waiting for the specs to finalize. (Hence the CAT 7 w RJ45s)

Or what it takes to produce production grade software.

I suggest you give it a rest before this thread gets shut down. Boris has a habit of doing that too.

Ach, Mike!
:slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you Smegel, they are nothing more than online bullies and believing their $90.00 speakers, wiim amps, and banana peel cables are the end of all audiophile equipment because they have anger and jealously towards anyone who lives better than them. Sad really.

Bonte, please speak English if you want to post. I dont know why you keep and Boris keep trying to make personal insults against me. If you like vintage equipment whats the problem ? Why do you have to attack me ?

Yes i read your post, after I read that I dont trust any of Boris factual assertions as he’s plain wrong about basic networking concepts. Thank you for pointing it out , it was quite educational and illuminating, unlike Boris posts spewed with useless nonsense.

Bonte,
Boris ist wie ein verhängnisvolles Kind, das seine “Expertise” zur Schau stellen will, während er andere schikaniert.
Es scheint ein Minderwertigkeitskomplex zu sein.
Ich mag keine Mobber oder ihre Anhänger.

@Bicycle
Bonte’s comment was meant for me. He wasn’t insulting you .

Thank you for clearing that up. He has become quite hostile to me . I hope he can relax .

Boris, did I find the right speakers that I posted ? The Mission 773 floor standers available for $90.00? That is a really good price. How do those speakers suit your taste related to the synergy with your electronics? Please dont attack me with your response, I’m just curious about your system. You also mentioned a naim amp and revel speakers, what models are they ?

@Bicycle

My wife likes to listen to her music on her iphone over its speakers. Drives me nuts when she could easily use airplay or spotify connect on the Arcam Solo Uno now in our living room. She doesn’t mind the sound quality as long as she can hear the lyrics and something that resembles ‘music’.

Different strokes for different folks.

Now Boris craps all over REL subwoofers. Bit of a blow hard.
When I bought my Mon Acoustic speakers, during AXPONA, I spoke w the Owner / CEO and his US employee who did the translation work. (Also an audiophile. ) One of the brands he recommended was REL.

Others have also recommended REL. Several who have well regarded YT channels.

So yeah you can ignore them.

That said… since we are here talking about Rose… we’re talking about products that are in a mid price tier. That you don’t need to go crazy in terms of other components like cabling. You can get decent cables and interconnects without spending a fortune. After a certain point, while you can see differences on a graph… its well outside your range of hearing. So as always CAVEAT EMPTOR.

Yes, I agree with that. The issue I have with Boris and his kind, are not that they have different beliefs , no matter how ridiculous those beliefs are - it’s the constant trash talk about equipment he has no idea about and is unable to attain or gain experience with. Most of us have owned the beginner equipment he has and understands the performance level he is at. Frankly, if he cannot attain high end equipment, or even if he could, then thats his choice and nobody is faulting him - we all know wealth inequality is at all time high and it may not be his fault. But, he doesn’t have to be so dismissive, condescending, and hostile to those who have made the choice to buy higher end brands and more sophisticated pieces of equipment. For example, I own both KEF Meta Blade 2 and Raidho X2t- he keeps on trashing Raidho even though its clear hes never been near such an exotic speaker. And i can compare Raidho to KEF, yet he dismissed my opinion only to preserve his nonsensical opinions . I’ve said to them many times , live and let live , no need to convince yourself your $90.00 speakers are the best if you truly enjoy them. Just enjoy them and let everyone else be .

Boris it seems that he’s owned a lot of different gear.
He then shows buyers remorse.

Maybe if he actually took the time to do some research and realize that no product is perfect and that they have warts and then decides within his price point he can live with the warts… but no he can’t do that.

I’ve seen people buy gear w unrealistic expectations or wanted to use them outside of their intended sweet spot. Doesn’t end well.

There is a lot of snake oil and exaggeration of capabilities out there. But again, if you can be reasonable in terms of expectations and price… you can build a good system.

W.R.T $90.00 speakers… if they work for you… great. But they won’t be giant killers.
There’s nothing wrong w KEF or Raidho. They may not be for everyone though.
The KEF R3 Meta is pretty much a one and done for most people. Just remember that there are still a lot of better quality speakers out there, even some at a similar price point. But what is important is how they sound to you.
