May I know the price of Terminator Plus Dac ?
Thanks @TomT Unfortunately, my DAC does not support I2S… But I agree RSA720 to connect my Weiss DAC give better SQ compare to direct USB output from RS130
Right, the Weiss 204 doesn’t have I2S. And indeed USB via RSA720 gives better sound quality. Sorry for the issue you’re facing. It is really annoying.
After the latest update, I too can’t connect my Holo May KTE via USB to the RSA720 w/ SFP connection back to the RS130. Anyone found a solution yet? FYI @Yu3319 ROSEHAN @ROSELOA
I have asked @Roseloa for a firmware update for RSA 720, I have not heard anything back yet. I believe that the firmware update on RSA 720 might not work, that could be the reason for the no response.
I gave up on RSA720. Hopefully, RD160 will work well with RS130. However, I have seen any reviews yet.
Any idea when RD160 will be available in the US? Only 10 more days left in Nov.
I was able to get my DAC recognized after a series of reboots across both devices. Now I am keeping my DAC and RS130 ON at all times to make sure it stays connected. Not very green of me but it’s working so far… I do think we need HiFi Rose to step up and make this more stable.
I also have the latest firmware they mention (they keep sending me the same one). Happy to share that with you? DM me your email.
Hello,
I own a RSA720, RSA780 and a RS130.
Would You please be so kind and send me the Firmware for the RSA720.
Thank You in advance and kind regards.
Mischka
Please request the RSA720 update file via the email below.
Then I will deliver the update file to your email.

I love the SQ and industrial design of my RS130. But it’s crazy how many countless hours I’ve spent on a useless fiber optic hub (which I’m returning since it does not recognize my Terminator II DAC), frustrating bugs in the RoseConnect app, and my CD burner that misrecognizes the meta data of CDs (requiring ridiculous manual entry of albums & song names).
@rosehan, with all due respect, if Hifi Rose does not improve the design and QA/QC of its firmware and software soon, it’s just a matter of time before the company folds and its customers are stuck with obsolete expensive products.
Thank you for your advice.
We are continuously working on improving the stability of the RoseConnect app.
And the metadata that is retrieved from the Rose device when ripping CDs is retrieved in a way that the information is stored on our servers.
We are continuously adding new and accurate metadata to our servers.
I received the update file and the firmware version provided to me via e-mail and links is to the old 82 version, not the 92 version. Please fix this. As it stands now the RSA720 is useless.
Hello ROSEHAN
Can the new firmware support any of below connections?
Case 1: RS 130 (USB 3.0 Fiber SFP port) (SFP) <— optical cable → (SFP) RSA720 Hub (switched to mode SFP) (USB 3.0 port) ----> FTA Sinope SE USB cable → (USB) Audio-GD DI-20 HE DDC → I2S → DAC
Case 2: RS 130 (USB 3.0 Fiber SFP port) (SFP) <— optical cable → (SFP) RSA720 Hub (switched to mode SFP) (USB 2.0 port) ----> FTA Sinope SE USB cable → (USB) Audio-GD DI-20 HE DDC USB port → I2S → DAC
As I read in the RSA720 manual, if it is switched to SFP mode, only USB 3.0 port can be used to connect to the DAC. Pls. clarify also.
USB Cable: FTA Sinope SE (FTA said this is USB 2.0 cable)
DDC: Audio-GD DI-20 HE DDC
DAC: Audio Mirror Tubadour V
This case work OK for me: RS 130 (any of the 02 USB 3.0 port) ----> FTA Sinope SE USB cable → (USB) Audio-GD DI-20 HE DDC → I2S → DAC
This case NOT OK for me (RS130 cannot recognized DDC as DAC): RS 130 (USB audio out port) ----> FTA Sinope SE USB cable → (USB) Audio-GD DI-20 HE DDC → I2S → DAC
Tks
Hoa
I have sent email to eunseong96@citech.kr to ask for the firmware, hope it will fix my problem with RS130 USB Audio Out port (cannot detect DAC) and RSA720 (cannot detect DAC).
I have sent the result to your email, with some attached pictures. Pls confirm you received the email.
I shipped the module last Friday.
According to the post office, when sending a product to Vietnam, the estimated delivery time is:
