Here we see an example of ES marketing.
They are seeding the YT influencers.
You see the T10 everywhere because they shipped out the gear months ago, and placed an embargo on them.
There were a couple of reviews of the RD160 and hopefully more reviews of Rose gear will happen.
I know one of the YT guys here in Chicago is now considering to review some of the Rose gear. Holm Audio is a local HiFi Rose Dealer and is willing to lend him some gear. (They also carry a lot of higher end brands too.)
The only thing is that its a double edge sword.
The Rose OS is quirky when you compare it to others. (Music first vs Settings first)
Also when you compare the ESS vs AKM dacs… the ESS will sound brighter and more ‘forward’. And depending on the implementations in the treble, that could be bad. IMHO I don’t hear it w the RS520, but it is brighter than the Arcam. (Cleaner too) So its a trade off.
If the reviewer likes your gear, its good. If not… it can hurt you.

If I were HiFi Rose, I would pull this post down and ban you. Sorry. You are posting paid advertising for a competitor on a company’s forum that they are providing to their customers. It’s ridiculous.

I feel the same way…
My 520 runs perfectly as a Roon endpoint, which is the only reasonable purpose of the 520. No experimenting with what doesn’t work properly.
I was able to try the T10 at home for 3 days
It’s full of gadgets (useless?!) Like these screen animations! What interests me is the sound!!
It’s not the same price but I prefer the Rs130 if only for its reading stability and audio quality on my personal set

This is always the best! The direct comparison with your favorite device is the Noplusultra. The Gedgeds are not so wrong when you deal with room measurement a little. You had the device at home. How did the VU meters do in contrast to Rose’s VU meters? I still don’t know how Rose tuned the VU meters. In dB mode, or dB mode with AGC (Automatic Gain Control)…no idea, I don’t know. Of course I know that you can set a full range signal, that the VU meters show the full level of the recording even with quiet music and of course volume-dependent dB mode. I use a full scale signal in dB mode on my external VU meter. There you can see how the title was recorded. It is also very nice to see which songs or albs have fallen victim to the Loudness War.
Well, in a future, I’m sure a device will fly in where you say I’ll retire my 130.

VU meters don’t interest me at all, I have some on my amplifier it’s enough and I have a high-performance acoustic corrector (Accuphase)

I do wish Rose’s next RS130-like streamer will have the ability to handle REW type convolution files.

Please do not think only of the device that is in your possession.
Also think of the AIO and streamer owners, who would also like to have it on their devices.
