Honestly, your condescending, dismissive, grumpy responses aren’t helpful. Saying, “hey, its likely a slight change in db”, would be constructive.
I used DeltaWave and they are nearly identical. I level-matched (temporarily) Roon using the Speaker Setup setting in Muse, and found that a 0.38db gain boost made them sound the same.
So there WAS a difference! lol 
So slight that you don’t immediately know its louder, but it is there
If you want condescending, look at every person with a “resolving” (usually means tubes, speakers with FR that looks like a sawtooth, and distortion up the wazoo) system and “muh ears are golden” attitude…
But at least we’ve established that there is no difference in SQ, just that some streamers play some sources a little bit louder under some setups.
Boris, I don’t get why you are posting on this thread or almost any other on here. Do you own any HiFi Rose gear or are you just trolling? You sh*t on pretty much every thread on this site and I haven’t seen much of any positive contribution.

Of course the description of your system that you have helpfully provided is a pretty good proof that you do not read anything except for price tags.
From my reading of your posts, the most common issue is you commenting on systems or components when you haven’t heard them or likely any of the components. Now you get to be ignored by yet another person who just wants to discuss our Rose components with like-minded people.
Edit: I’ll add that you and I had never interacted and the first interaction is you criticizing my system when I was answering someone else. It’s just being a negative unhelpful person.

Eh, the first interaction was you doubting if I have any Rose devices. Which does not reflect well on your research abilities. Which, of course, was well confirmed by the fact that you have the 130, SFPs, etc. etc.
Now, I can totally allow that one might like tube sound, and Tannoy-like coax speakers, although you don’t really get to claim a “resolving” system with a kit like that. The rest of it though, that’s exactly what someone with absolutely no understanding of how electronics work would assemble, if they only looked at price tags, listened to sweet-talking salesmen, and could not afford anything actually “high-end.”

You can click on your account image in the upper right corner, and then choose to blog his messages from showing up permanently via Users of Notifications under Preferences.
It sounds much better with Rose app to me. I would choose it any day without hesitation. Whoever claims that there is no difference or that ROON it is better is wrong. My observations are with RS201E.

Someone claiming that Rose App sounds “better” after being told to equalize volumes… well, unfortunately these days even people with single-digit IQ survive past infancy.

Thanks Gingerbeard, but I can’t for the life of me get the add filter to come on.I have read the speaker setup in Muse but no luck adding the filter where I can add the .38 db to test your theory.Any thoughts?
Note that if you are on a phone, you don’t get the full Muse controls. I do see them on my iPad Pro and Desktop though.
I did this to test with, but I am not running the filter in normal circumstances.
I did some more back and forth listening trying to focus on recordings that aren’t perfect. With either great recordings or ones not perfect, I’m still not hearing any difference that I think I could point to in a double blind listening or sighted. That is good for me because I much prefer the Roon interface.
