As well as the VU meters I think it would be cool to have a selection of audio spectrum analysers. Would be quite nice to see the various audio frequencies visually moving.
It would already be good for the devices to work properly and for the team to respond to complaints before giving us gadgets that do not have much to do on hi-fi equipment
@Gillesbonatti please do not hijack my suggestions with your grievances.
I do not doubt you have some issues, I personally at this point do not. I’m sure there are other sections of this website where you can make your complaints.
I have no complaints but I especially don’t want gadgets on my Rs130.
I bought it for the sound not to do disc jockey
The seen meters are already a useless joke
The VU meters tend to be what a lot of users want.
Something other than album cover art.
So its not a bad option.
If you don’t like it… don’t use them.
Personally I like the clocks w weather.
As to @JohnyT 's suggestion… I don’t know. Not something that a lot of people want. Although some might like it.
I have a numerical corrector (Accuphase Dg 68) where the spectrum analyzer is useful. The rest is gadget!!
I for one would love to see these yes please more gadgets I had them on my eversolo a10 very cool
I have had no problems with my rs151 excellent piece of Hifi
I think a lot of people would rather like it, if indeed it was possible.
The Rose streamers do have a very nice and generous sized display and would be rather eye-catching if done right. It would certainty stand out to me if I saw this at a local Hifi Shop.
I appreciate the more traditional person may not choose to use it. However those of us who are a bit younger growing up in the 90s probably miss the sort of visual features we used in say Win amp and other media players. As @Rus mentioned other brands have this feature already, so would be nice for people if they upgrade to a Rose and this is still here for them to use.
And that’s true.
Which is why I don’t think its a bad idea.
I’m not sure what the level of effort is to capture the data to do this… but I suspect the data itself may be there.
Personally I’d rather see PEQ than this… although they could go hand in hand.
We are considering adding a spectrum analysis function.
However, it is somewhat difficult to analyze in real time during playback.
Obviously, it can only be a gadget to try to impress his friends!! What nonse
How dare you call me a nonse, that is highly offensive!
Désolé, I didn’t want to be offensive but if the analyzer as explained by Rosehan is not the music, no more than the vus meter it’s gadget
@Gillesbonatti
Some people listen to music with more than their ears.
Some love to watch things like VU meters dance and jump while the music plays.
Personally I use the RS180 panel as my ‘meter’ when playing music. Then the clock w weather when in stand by. But that’s my preference. Now who am I to judge what others like?
As @ROSEHAN indicates… doing a Spectrum Analyser in real time… isn’t as easy as a VU meter.
And I agree with others… there are other things that need to be fixed that take priority.
We also prioritize device stability over adding new features.
We will strive to develop software that will satisfy you.
Lol Mr ROSEHAN,
WHERE IS MY SUPORT…?
I use the 130 daily and I would love to see a spectrum analyzer! This is my 3rd HifiRose product and I have found each piece to be unique and very good sound quality. I agree the software is terrible but I just use Roon and it works perfectly. I only use the software to turn the display on and off.
You want gadgets instead of listening to music. Go buy spots at the supermarket
You feel good little idiot hiding behind your keyboard. ?
It’s full of action again…
Sit back and enjoy the show…
