2025 Wish List for Rose

  1. I’m so tempted to say 2024 list but I won’t.

Alright, Ron,

Let me continue your list and write it in blood…

  1. I want the issue with the built-in automatic standby mode to be resolved. Currently, this feature on the RS150B is not working correctly.
  2. I want the issue resolved where, after playing a track longer than one hour on Tidal, the next track does not start. Playback stops.
  3. I want the on/off toggle for AirPlay and DLNA to be brought back to the mobile app on iPhone and iPad.
  4. I want the VU modes in the Rose Connect app to switch without unnecessary and redundant confirmation, simply changing with one click.
  5. I want to be able to like other users’ playlists in Rose Home and then see these playlists in my own MyPage Rose section.
  6. I want the team to finally develop a decent Rose Connect app for MacOS.
  7. I want the Qobuz app to display music labels and their pages, just like in the original app, allowing users to browse them.
  8. Lastly, I want albums on artist pages in Tidal and Qobuz to be displayed in chronological order by release year, as in the original apps. Right now, it’s all over the place. Releases and albums should be displayed in separate columns, not mixed together.

…and I want the albums to be sorted by artist in My Tidal (My Albums), like the original app has!!!

I, and certainly other Rose users who use Tidal, want a switch (like in the original Tidal app on mobile devices) to be able to turn off Dolby Atmos so that you can listen to these songs in stereo, because the Rose devices are pure stereo devices.

Vic,

Seems pretty reasonable to me.I think maybe some of the programmers might have been diverted this year to new products rather than the “cleanup crew”. This is a shame. As one who spent his career in the software development field, here was my mantra to clients - When you have a working product that the programmers say is 95% finished, you are half way through the software development process and half through the total budget to finish. That last 5% is very expensive but essential.

…or apply the 80-20 rule were as 80% of work is done in 20% of the time while 20% of the work needs 80% of time…

I really like the 80-20 because it is like everywere in everyday life of all of us.

That’s the Pareto Principle. It works every time. In every organization 20% of the people do 80% of the work.
