The update went smoothly; everything’s working so far, including the daylight saving time issue and Qobuz Connect.
I had to enter the PIN directly into the device, but not again afterward.
The PIN isn’t required from standby mode either, only when I completely turn off the device or force a restart. Is this correct?
What is the ROSE device to the right of the ROSE Streamer? What does it do?

Installed new software on my RS20A. It went well. Then it installed new software on my iPad. Afterwards, it can’t find my RS250A. Any ideas. Also new software didn’t install on Windows 11. It wiped out the old APP. Need help.
Added note: I have no idea what went wrong and no idea how I fixed it, but things are working on both the iPad and Windows 11 box now.
Today I tested the RS 151 with the latest firmware, and everything was fine, from YouTube Rose to Tidal and even Qubuz.
After entering my streaming service passwords, I was prompted to enter my PIN. I entered it, and everything was fine after that.
There’s something I don’t understand. I’m not interested in updating the software to use Qobuz, RoseRoseConnectPremium, and the streaming apps.
The only thing I’m interested in is having the latest firmware and operating system version on my RS151. Do I need to do this update, or is it only for the streaming apps?

I completely understand that this may be somewhat inconvenient for you. However, the product was required to obtain EU RED certification, and adding a PIN code was an essential part of meeting that requirement. Setting it to a number that is familiar or easy for you to remember may help reduce the inconvenience.

On the RS130 home screen after the update, every time I reboot or wake the 130 from standby the home screen icons are not in the order that I applied them. Can this be corrected? I have to correct the Home Screen icons every time I want to enjoy the RS130.
I am not experiencing this same scenario with the RS520 after the update.

Thanks for the reply. I did the update and the 8-digit PIN. Everything seems fine on my RS151, except the interface still hasn’t been fixed when playing SACD ISOs. The back arrow isn’t there.
The main thing is, don’t get angry and be patient — good things come only to those who are patient.
I created a Home Assistant program for myself that allowed me to turn the device on and off, adjust the volume, and change the input.
After the update, it no longer works.
Could you let me know what changes you made so I don’t have to hunt down all the APIs again?
