One other comment.
An 8 digit only pin is kind of overkill.
The unit is secured and only accessible from within your internal network.
Granted while its possible to put this on an exposed network segment… its highly unlikely.
The update went smoothly; everything’s working so far, including the daylight saving time issue and Qobuz Connect.
I had to enter the PIN directly into the device, but not again afterward.
The PIN isn’t required from standby mode either, only when I completely turn off the device or force a restart. Is this correct?
What is the ROSE device to the right of the ROSE Streamer? What does it do?

The update process ran flawlessly with my RS 151 and the new version works really well.
Especially problem 23:Fixed initial noise and stutter during QobuzConnect playback
is solved, Qobuz connect runs without any interruption.

Installed new software on my RS20A. It went well. Then it installed new software on my iPad. Afterwards, it can’t find my RS250A. Any ideas. Also new software didn’t install on Windows 11. It wiped out the old APP. Need help.
Added note: I have no idea what went wrong and no idea how I fixed it, but things are working on both the iPad and Windows 11 box now.
Today I tested the RS 151 with the latest firmware, and everything was fine, from YouTube Rose to Tidal and even Qubuz.
After entering my streaming service passwords, I was prompted to enter my PIN. I entered it, and everything was fine after that.
There’s something I don’t understand. I’m not interested in updating the software to use Qobuz, RoseRoseConnectPremium, and the streaming apps.
The only thing I’m interested in is having the latest firmware and operating system version on my RS151. Do I need to do this update, or is it only for the streaming apps?
