Nothing to do, I’ll give up on going back to version 5.9.07
Here, from a FAT32-formatted USB drive renamed “rs150t_upgrade.zip” to one of the RS130’s two USB 3.0 ports.
It downloads the update, turns off the screen, and reboots into this “DOS” state.
when i turn it off it reboots normally on v5.9.09
Perform a factory reset before installing the version and clear the cache
It doesn’t work… I’ll see at the next upgrade.

This is a preload software called Android Recovery. The fact that after trying to apply update it reboots to previous OS version 09 means that something’s wrong with the update file (it’s corrupted, bad USB-flash, wrong file or something like that) or the system prohibits downgrade so it discards lower version.

Yes, you have to load the file again without any modification, the current one is certainly corrupted
Here’s what my unmodified file looks like.
This is on a USB drive that I just formatted to FAT32 from a new PC running Windows 11.

I reloaded my download onto another USB stick (formatted FAT32), loaded the stick from my Mac, and reverted to version 5.8 (Try) on the RS130.
This time, it’s OK; version 5.9.07 is loaded.

Personally, I don’t want to start a controversy, but I’m French, and I find it more difficult HERE, compared to the international community, for us ALL to speak English.
