▣ Rose Streamer Features & Stability

1. Fixed an issue where switching to LINE OUT output could be missed under certain input conditions, improving signal output stability.
2. Added the ability to uninstall apps that are not available in the App Store.

After update sound is, but very kow quality. If you try use “Rose” as preamp need open 60% volume level, before sound appears on speaker.

Warning, for power amp users!
i almos blow away my speakers, because when sound open higher level than normal - skiping next track, o next radio station - sound appiers like normal, but until next track, next change. It unstable:)

i upgraded to early version…

Next thing 16bit audio files, “Tidal” too small “white noise” appears on the background.

From 24bit level is good:) i have worst 16bit quality now.

Because i use “Nas” and minimserver whitch transcode up 24bit 352.8kHz its ok for me to wait. Tidal 24bit only;)

Why isn’t anyone from the HiFi Rose team responding?

My HiFi Rose RS151 running Rose OS version 5.9.08.1, where everything works perfectly and the audio quality is simply spectacular.

Before updating to the new version, I would appreciate it if someone from the HiFi Rose development team, or another person with the appropriate technical knowledge, could answer the following questions:

Have there been any changes to the DAC’s operation or performance, or to the audio quality?

Have there been any changes to the preamp output level settings?

Have there been any changes to the settings related to mV Unbalanced?

Have there been any changes to the input and output configuration?

Have there been any changes to the operation or behavior of the digital filters?

Is the Minimum Phase Slow Roll-off Filter still available for selection?

Is the actual analog output level via RCA and XLR exactly the same as in version 5.9.08.1?

Has the audio signal processing or playback path been changed, even if the DAC and filters remain the same?

Will my current settings be preserved after updating, or will any audio settings be reset to their default values?

Hi guys,

I’m probably stating the obvious and apologies if this sounds a bit patronising, but every time I do a software update on the RS 130, I always reset the factory settings after and that usually fixes any problems I’ve had in the past, so carried on doing it without problem.
Just thought I’d pass on my experience, in case it helps hopefully.

Although, if I’m honest, the factory reset isn’t too much for me, because I use the RS 130 as a Roon end point and have a separate server
