[OTA] Early Access: Rose OS 5.8 Release

On android 14 i got a message saying that a maximum of 5 rose connect can be registered , please unregistere at least 1 device.

I uninstall then reinstall rc ea but message still appears

Thank you for this new EA 5.8 version.
The iOS and Android updates also went well; unfortunately, the PC version isn’t updating.
Could you post the link to download the EA version for PC?

With the RS151, there’s no connection to the rose store possible, thus no update and also no way back to the official version.
Any idea?

Edit… After full Reset, updates are working

Still no resolution of PCM Delay Time, which has not been working since the start of marketing of the RS130 (soon 2 years!!!) I’m losing patience…

Same issue here. No update for Windows PC.

I don’t see that the issue described in the thread “Skips while playing by its own” will be fixed by the current update.

I want to thank the ROSE engineers for the update 5.8. everything went well on my RS150B and there are a lot of new things that I am happy about, I am satisfied. Now, when playing CDs from my RS780 player, images of the played CDs and their titles began to appear on the RS 150B display, which stopped appearing, but I don’t understand why it’s only for some, they used to appear for all CDs. But that’s not important at all, you’ve done a lot of work to my satisfaction and I appreciate your efforts. The functions of UV meters are also improved. Thank you, Sidonius

Your RS250 is confirmed to be EA version. RoseConnect PC must also be used exclusively for EA.

Thank you for the answer but I downloaded the latest version for MacIntel 5.7.7 to replace version 5.7.4 ! which I uninstalled and it’s the same, my Rose RS250 appears, the IP is good but failure of systematic connection??

I somehow managed to get the EA version of RoseConnect installed on my Windows PC. The Rose App Version is 5.8.03 and the Connected App Version is 5.8.16. The Connect App runs, but poorly. When I go to Music, then I click on Folder-ROSEDISK, sometimes the content shows up, other times it just flashes on the screen and then disappears. If it stays on, then I can play music. If I click on Album, all albums show up but if I try to play any I get a message that says: “Audio Source Not Found.” Have I got the wrong EA Connect installed? Not really usable.

Can you please share the link for EA 5.8* for Windows PC? I can’t seem to find it
I have seen previous posts asking for a link but HifiRose is yet to respond. Please share.

Please check a few things.

  1. What is the version of your Rose device?
    Rose device–>Settings–>System info–>System version info
  2. Is it true that your Rose device version is 5.8 (Early Access)?
