Hello, this is HiFi Rose.

We are pleased to inform you that the latest Rose Platform – Early Access OTA version has been released today.

Please find below the update details. Kindly review the information to ensure smooth use without inconvenience.

Important Notice:
This is an Early Access version.
The Official (stable) update will be released at a later date, so please use this version with caution.

Early Access – Update and Improvements
Release Date: April 17, 2025 (Wednesday), 1:00 PM (GMT +9)
Supported Models: RS201(E), RS250, RS150(B), RS520, RS130, RS151
Software Version: Rose OS v5.8 (Early Access)

Version Details:

Rose OS (SW): v5.8.03
RoseConnect Premium (Android): v5.8.03
RoseConnect Premium (iOS): v5.08.30
RoseConnect Premium (PC / Mac): v5.08.16

How to Update (Early Access):

• Rose OS:
  Device > Settings > System Info > Tap “Update” under System Version > Proceed with update
  After update, the system version will display: 5.8 (Early Access)

• Android:
  Search “Rose Early Access” in Google Play Store and install/update
  

• iOS:
  Search “RoseConnect Premium (Early)” in the App Store and install/update
  

• PC / Mac:
  Auto update will proceed when the app is launched

Note: After installation on Android or iOS, the app name will appear as “ROSE EA”. Please take note when using.

• Resolved menu display issue under zoomed screen mode
• AMP now defaults to normal mode when selected
• Modified timer application method
• Fixed missing account selection popup when switching between device and local mode with different accounts
• Fixed duplicate popups during Wi-Fi or device pairing failures
• Added loading bar during LocalPlay
• Added error message when TIDAL tracks fail to play in LocalPlay
• Added “Go to Radio” feature for Qobuz tracks, albums, and artists
• Prevented playback of unavailable Qobuz tracks
• Added AMP volume control function
• Added search functionality in “My TIDAL,” “My Qobuz,” and “My Apple Music”

Caution: When switching between the Official version and the Early Access version (or vice versa), a factory reset will be performed.
Music files stored on USB or SSD will not be deleted, but Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, streaming account information, and audio settings will need to be reconfigured.

Was that on Android? I don’t seem to have that option on the iOS or mac versions.

On android 14 i got a message saying that a maximum of 5 rose connect can be registered , please unregistere at least 1 device.

Rose connect ea last version
I uninstall then reinstall rc ea but message still appears

Thank you for this new EA 5.8 version.
The iOS and Android updates also went well; unfortunately, the PC version isn’t updating.
Could you post the link to download the EA version for PC?

With the RS151, there’s no connection to the rose store possible, thus no update and also no way back to the official version.
Any idea?

Still no resolution of PCM Delay Time, which has not been working since the start of marketing of the RS130 (soon 2 years!!!) I’m losing patience…

I don’t see that the issue described in the thread “Skips while playing by its own” will be fixed by the current update.
