This problem with rose tube not playing after say 5 or 6 you tubes is still happening. It’s been happening no matter what I do or reload or update.
This is not fixed……rosehan, would there be any update to this. You did say that it was being reported worldwide as a problem playing rose tube.
The error message is this….
“could not play due to a temporary error, try again later”.
It’s been saying that for the past year, after I play 4 or 5 or 6 rose tubes. The first 3 or 4 play fine. Then no more will play and that message is displayed. This doesn’t effect anything on tidal, they all play fine as many as you want to play. The message
“could not play due to a temporary error, try again later”. Is displayed on BOTH the front screen of the rs130 itself, and is displayed at the same time on the app. I have reloaded, reset, restarted, factory reset already, I have done every rest possible, and none will fix this problem. The ONLY thing that fixes this is time, if I wait 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 hours, (I don’t know exactly). Then lol is back to normal and it works again. It must be a buffer that I can’t clear, or it’s a condition of of how Hifi rose works with you tube, maybe it because Hifi rose isn’t paying you tube? I’m not sure, but this has been broken for a long time, maybe never has worked . Rose Han, what do your engineers say? Can you please ask? My Apple TV box which costs $129 usd, works better than my $5800 rs130. Please let us know. You should be able to fix this, Apple doesn’t have this problem.
Maybe that’s why Spotify and Tidal Connect aren’t working either?!

Same problem for me again. It’s a little embarrassing to have a house full of party people, watching dj sets on TV through Rosetube when this amazing and for many of the guests ridiculously expensive piece of equipment just refuses to play some sets. Some other sets played just fine, though.

Hi thanks for checking on this rose tube playback error problem. Like I said 4-5 rose tube videos play just fine, then after that none will play and error message comes up on my app and on the rs130 at the same time. It’s been doing this for over a year. and the ONLY thing that fixes it is time. If I wait several hours it starts working again, then exact same thing happens.
This only happens on rose tube playback. Tidal and all other music plays fine, it’s only on videos that have this problem. Thank you!!

Ok I did that restart and said yes to update the app. Will see if it works better. I didn’t know to unplug it, and only then would it ask me to update.

Ok well I did that, and now zero rose tubes will play. I just get the rotating circle and the play button is on the screen and I push it and it goes back to not playing. There is something wrong with rose tube. It doesn’t work. Message on screen says “failed to play URL”. So the circle just spins forever and no rose tubes play. I un plugged power, did total reset, and tried several times. and it does the exact same thing. No rose tubes play.
It’s working again. Not sure why. I turned it off for an hour and turned it back on and now working. Thanks

Nope not fixed. It’s acting very erratic. Plays some and not others. Just spinning circle. No offense, but Apple TV is coming out with a new box in march. It’s literally 50, FIFTY!!! times less expensive that the rs130. So I’m thinking that this could be the end, unless you fix these kinds of things. I LOVE MY RS130, LOVE IT, but the software has too many bugs, please get someone who can manage the fixes and get it fixed. To many software problems. Also you’re going to need “RGB full” on the hdmi output, (Apple already has that). YUV 4:2:0 is not going to cut it, not for 50 times the price. I’m just trying to be helpful. I should not have to tell you all this and tell you about the same problems over and over and over. You should know this already and get a software coder who understands how the rs130 and the app work together. Or if you have to pay you tube or tidal, please pay them and your buyers will subsidize that, I mean we are already paying 50 times more than Apple TV box. Also Apple TV box in nearly instant in starting to play, there is no buffering. again just trying to help. Thanks

Currently, we are not experiencing any issues with RoseTube playback.
After trying all the steps mentioned above, are you still seeing an error message and unable to play?
Temporary Workarounds to Try
- Uninstall RoseTube completely and reinstall the latest version from RoseStore.
- Reboot or power cycle your device.
- Toggle the “Use VLC Player” option if available.
- Switch to a more stable network connection.
