Two years ago, I bought 150B at this price in Germany.
I don’t see any price reduction…
Moreover, I can’t understand how 150B, bundled with a 780 CD-ROM, can cost 7,000 lei more than the same model without it.
Definitely, that gypsy sold you the 130 for a bit more than others, and now you’re fuming, spitting everywhere.

Sorry I didn’t see this earlier, but I suspect I’m among the silent majority that totally agree with you.i started out with the RS 250a and loved it! About 9 months ago I moved up to the RS 520 and couldn’t be happier with it!!So thank you for what yo said about all the negative chatter,and I truly hope they can find a forum they like:)

Not bad at first but when they send you a board and you have to install it yourself especially when there is 8 or 10 plastic connection and they look like they will break or break just looking at them, you just give up. Oh yes you have warranty so just send the machine to Korea and hope it comes back.
Again news from Eversolo, they’ve introduced the T8 network player without dac which almost has everything the RS130 should have for 1/3 of it’s price

DLNA? We have half only. Updates? Once a month vs twice a year.
Eversolo actually has figured out how to index and categorize a music database automatically!
My point is that not only is Eversolo catching up, in some aspects it is surpassing HiFi Rose at 30% of the price.
HiFi Rose was there first but the lead is just about gone. I have been warning about the Chinese coming for two years.

I don’t mind the expense so long as I get value for my money. What I don’t like is to pay a lot and see a ChiFi eat my product’s lunch for a third the cost and to provide more and better features as well.

My hope is that someone in authority will read the user experiences here, take them into account and improve the product in a timely fashion. Is that too much to hope for?

Have you been around this forum for any length of time? Quality Control, either soft or hardware isn’t something Rose does.
Just as useless a device as 130 is, but but appears slightly more thoughtfully engineered and will have better support.

Well, we’ve already established that you do not know what you are talking about, so we can now stick to facts – if for some reason you do want to get a DACless streamer (not that it made much sense to begin with, but say you like the looks of the DAC you have) and do not want ti use a computer (which would be the best really) then the EverSolo is a much better device at a greatly better value. Not sure how good their room correction is, but at least they do not insult my intelligence claiming that PEQ etc. should not be available in a “flagship” device, support more music services, company generally has better software developers (or at least has their work tested) etc. etc.
RS-130 does have a better bigger screen, which is still Rose’s unique value proposition, but as far as playing music goes, they target entirely different audiences. EverSolo (and other Zidoo brands, as well as some others) do state of the art quality and pack as many features as they can for a given price point, while Rose and similar quasi-high-end brands provide, at best, same sound quality (after all, Rose’s parts come from the same barrel as EverSolo’s) with, maybe one unique feature (screen for the Rose) and then price it as high as the market will bear. After all, a lot of HiFi is purely Veblen goods, so it might even be a workable marketing strategy. Just doers not have anything with any real benefits for listening to actual music.
